We drove across the bridge (both ways) to get from our home to Napa. As part of this trip, we stopped to see the views at vista point. The views of the water are very nice.

You can see for quite a distance from this vista and the park is a good place to walk around too. Doesn't take long to see so it's worth a stop.

On a dry hill top, well hidden among the freeway ramps, but has sweeping views of Suisun Bay and the bridges over the strait. Worth a few minutes if you are nearby, like at the Benicia Historical Museum.

Mixed emotions for me, viewing this bridge; it replaced a chugging, wheezing picturesque of ferry boat that I used to love taking over to Martinez. Yes, the bridge was needed, but I miss the old Charles Van Damme!

Not worth finding nor stopping for if driving. If on a bicycle tour, though, it might be worth going to.

Видов особых нет, т.к. ехать надо быстро. за проезд собирают $5 налом, готовьте заранее. А мост хороший, скоростной, да.

The elevated view across Suisun Bay and the eastern end of Carquinez Strait is nice enough, but the main attraction in the past would've been the reserve "ghost" fleet just to the east. It's been reduced to a ghost of its former glory, pun intended, by an ongoing scrapping program. The highway noise is not particularly pleasant and doesn't compel one to linger. The physical facility is nice enough, with a bathroom. One can bike here easily from the adjoining path linking to the I680 crossing.

Benicia-Martinez Bridge Vista Point occupies a rather tricky-to-get-to location on hilly terrain within the I-680/I-780 intersection complex on the Benicia side of the Strait. This nicely-landscaped little park offers picnicking and paved walkways, but its feature attraction is the scenic views to be had from the overlook on the high ground. The views of the two I-680 bridge spans, the train trestle and Mount Diablo are eye-catching, but you’ll likely find the views of the Mothball Fleet particularly interesting. The Mothball Fleet photo op is not ideal, since the cluster of ships is seen in the distance beyond a bridge approach, but if there is a better vantage point from which to photograph the rapidly-dwindling Mothball Fleet (proper name National Defense Reserve Fleet), I don’t know about it. Bring your binoculars and the zoom lens for your camera.
