Hit nine holes with the kids. Was a great time. Everyone is super nice from the club house and on the course. Not the best course but fun for a Sunday afternoon.

New to Brentwood, made solo reservations for early Sunday mornings. Very happy with the on-line reservation process and tee pairing. Course is in good condition and a fair test of golf. Some scenic home with the back drop of Mt. Diablo.

This place is simply beautiful. Where the rich go to have some relaxing moments. Loved the clubhouse. Beautifully manicured gardens and surroundings.

This golf course and Clubhouse are getting a great renovation. It will reopen in March. I walked the golf course and it will be great. A great challenge for low handicap players and fun for the higher ones. The Clubhouse will have a new Gym, new Bar, New dining room. If you can play it when it reopens you will love it. If you can join it is a privilege well worth it.

A Brentwood (la nuova Beverly Hills) si trova questo piccolo centro commerciale di lusso. La pianta è fondamentalmente un quadrato di circa 30mq per lato e lo si gira molto rapidamente. I negozi non sono tantissimi: segnalo sicuramente James Perse (dove le star - ma anche io! - acquistano delle bellissime magliette minimal di ottimo tessuto in pieno stile casual californiano), Pippa Small (se vi và di farvi derubare 5k per un ciondolo "da quattro soldi" a forma di pepita in oro che è stato lanciato fondamentalmente da Reese Whiterspoon) e Roberta Rabbit (dove Julia Roberts viene a comprare parei e asciugamani...). In realtà la vera chicca è il bar-ristorante dove poter fare una buona colazione o un pranzo in compagnia dei ricchi abitanti della zona (ambiente tutto sommato però piuttosto informale) e dove poter acquistare prodotti di alta qualità. Se avete tempo e passate da queste parti fateci un salto (ovviemente se restate a LA per 3gg o meno non includetelo nell'itinerario: c'è di meglio).
