From Palm Springs best just to do Cabazon! 30 min drive from Palm Springs. Likely busses. But soooo many more outlets to choose from and deals. Much better at Cabazon.

Traffic will we light. Download the Waze app. We lived in the LA area and Now We live in the desert and make that trek to LA very often. After you shop perhaps you might want to have dinner at Las Consuelas in Palm Springs. You won’t hit traffic but a nice way to end the trip out here. You could also go to the cliff house in La Quinta lovely. Another 35 min drive. Or go to El Paseo in Palm Desert. Also go to the service center at the outlet and ask for a discount booklet. It will provide additional discounts. Enjoy!!

Sometime ago we signed up to Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger websites and they give additional discounts when you shop at their discount outlets ranging from 15 - 25%. Found these much better than discount books you get at the outlets themselves because their is no minimum spend
