Loving our time on Coronado. Beach walks, bicycling, great restaurants, beautiful golf views. This was a perfect complement to all our activities. Then back to eating again!

This was such a fun experience! Highly recommend booking around sunset. If it’s a little cooler, bring a blanket. So glad we were about to do this!

Shocked at the amazing reviews…we live in San Diego but are always doing touristy things and entertaining families. In fact, I went on the tiki tour last Saturday for a friend’s birthday.
I’ll start off by saying yes I brought children. I wasn’t expecting a romantic time but I thought it would at least be fun. Literally you go up and down and stare at people’s boats docked in their backyard and turn around and do it again in a different direction. I love Coronado and just did a staycation at the Del two months ago. However, I would never subject my friends to this. Zero history or information about the area and the gondolier even cut our tour short seven minutes. Not complaining because we were done five minutes into it but just odd he wasn’t more aware of the time.
To sum it up, this seemed like a good idea but totally fell flat. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Friendly staff, relaxing, fun treats. We went at sunset and found it quite romantic! Celebrated our anniversary. Nice music playing as we slowly explored the cays.

Reserved an 8:30 pm ride to finish out a birthday celebration for my wife. The Gondolier, Flora, was a great guide. Beautiful night. Thank you.

Wonderful way to celebrate our 37th anniversary. Nico is a great gondolier, with a beautiful voice. Picturesque Coronado Cays are beautiful. Would definitely recommend & will absolutely do again.

Very friendly staff both at check in and on the Gondola. We had a group of 24 - so took out 4 of the Gondola's. Nice way to see the marina. Beautiful sunset - very peaceful and relaxing.

Loved this little excursion! It's the next best thing to actually going to Venice. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Looking at the homes and boats in the Cayes was spectacular. Very romantic (we went to celebrate our anniversary) with wine, chocolates and Italian music. This is one of the best kept secrets in San Diego and extremely value oriented to boot.

Did sunset gondola experience. It was just okay. Wine was okay that I pre ordered. The guy that paddled the gondola literally said two words during the entire experience. Not a lot of personality! Most likely would not do this again.

Taking gondola sunset ride Tuesday is it windy on the water not sure what to wear I am currently in hot springs Murietta in the valley it is quite warm there but I am sure being on the water will be quite different?

There is typically a nice breeze on the water. Dress warm enough as if you were going for a walk on the beach, I suggest bringing a light sweater just in case you need it. We supply warm blankets on every gondola so you won't be cold. It is forecast to be 70 degrees Tuesday evening near sunset. I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you!

We are senior's and can't drive in the big cities. how do we get from the San Diego airport to Pier South Resort Autograph collection?? how much, approx. would a taxi be? we have never been to CA. and we want to visit next month. thank you

I looked up the place you'll be staying once you arrive in San Diego; I see it's in Imperial Beach. That is approximately 17.3 miles south of the airport. It might be less expensive to book a shuttle than a taxi. I tried getting an approximate cost for you online but the taxi/shuttle services needed more information from me that I didn't have (i.e., where you'll be traveling from). A few shuttle services you could try would be Cloud 9 Shuttle, Prime Time Shuttle, and Green Ride. I'm not affiliated with any of those companies; I just looked them up for you to maybe help out.
Since you'll be staying in Imperial Beach, make sure you get to Coronado and see the famous Hotel Del. The hotel is only 7.4 miles from where you'll be staying.
We've been having beautiful weather. Hope it stays as nice for for you when arrive in town.
