“Car lovers must see! ”

真的很喜欢参观这家博物馆的收藏和一个很棒的汽车。从旧到新的很多历史值得花一个小时去碗里这里整个博物馆。非常靠近洛杉矶国际机场和方便超级方便坐车过去的只在那儿住了几美元。

The last month of this hidden gem!

I happened upon the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum fortuitously on a day when the SoCal MG club was holding a rally - they let me in FREE! OMG (I donated the cost of a ticket in any case $15USD for adult). So many great icons of the automotive world in good condition. Amazing to see. So sad to hear that later this month this place is closing its doors to the public! Last chance to see a hidden gem!

What a very nice hidden gem! This is a place not to miss! Certain days you can sit in the cars if you’re 18 and older. Also on Sundays they have a few classic cars you can be allowed to get rides in

Interesting, even for this non-car lover, and fun car ride!

Our family spent about 2 hours here, wondering through all the beautifully maintained cars. We came on a Sunday so that we could also get a ride in one of the antique cars. This Sunday they had 2 available, so were rode in both, one from WWII era and one from the 1950s. They have a completely different feel from today's cars, not to mention wildly different instrument panels. There were several docents there that day, all of which made our visit more rich and meaningful, listening to their stories and what they had to say. Among what they said was that all of the vehicles are maintained by volunteers who not only keep them shining, but also running. The vast majority of the cars are in one large room, so even with a large group, there's no way to get separated, except going to the bathroom. One family member uses a walker and found it easy to get around almost everywhere.

Eclec tic mix of autos with detailed signage.

My wife and I spent over 1 hour reviewing this eclectic mix of cars from the Model T to modern. Lots of auto parafenalia(gas pumps, model cars, & signs) along with much information detailing the effect of autos, freeways, diners, motels and associated businesses over the past 100 years. Nice restrooms, friendly staff, gift shop & cafe.

Wonderful displays and staff

We stopped by here this morning and WOW it did not let us down.
The Staff and volunteers spent time to explain things to us and were engaging and friendly. We are visiting from Australia and will let people know to drop by. Sonesta Select Hotel Le Segundo is 1 min away and the prefect for a stopover just minutes from LAX.

We are father and son travelling 70 and 50 but this place would be great for anyone.

Superbe visite. Les véhicules sont magnifiques et la possibilité de monter dedans rend l’expérience unique !!! Le dimanche, nous avons également pu faire un tour dans deux magnifiques voitures. Bref, une visite inoubliable !!!

Everyone was encouraged to Touch the displays

For a small donation collected at the front desk I was allowed to roam throughout the museum and touch or enter as many cars as I wanted. The only exception were those that were locked.

The museum carried a nice variety of cars from different eras of automobiles and were all nicely restored or maintained in their original condition.

Many accessories and car memorabilia lined the walls. Replicas of a period gas station was also setup. All the really expensive cars were behind a glass enclosed room.

I spent more time than I expected here. Next time I hope I can visit on a Sunday when the museum has actual drives that visitors can enjoy with these cars.

Great place to take kids, lots of beautiful drivable cars to see and hear, a test drive is available every Sunday so make it on a Sunday.

An Excellent Automobile Museum Experience!

The Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum,located in El Segundo,California is a terrific collection of early century,mid century classic vehicles that are all in drivable beautiful condition! They also feature an exclusive collection of superb vehicles from the 30's and 40's and 50's in a private salon "showroom" area that is locked but the public is allowed in to view them up close which is really neat!
Another great feature not available at other car museums is that at The Zimmerman you can get in and sit in the vehicles for that extra added car experience!
On Sundays you can also take rides in the classic vehicles as well so call and ask for the schedule-super cool!
Friendly staff answers all of your questions and then some!👍
Tons of photo ops available here!
I had a super car museum experience and I highly recommend the Zimmerman for you and your family! The museum charges a small donation fee to get in,free parking and lots of places nearby to get food and drinks-they also have piknik benches in front to eat at too!

Best car museum

Great experience! You can get in the cars and they have a hot wheels section for younger kids. We loved the 1930s showroom recreation. Free for military and spouses and children under 10. We came to kill an hour and stayed for three talking to the volunteers and having an ice cream in the themed soda style shop. Highly recommend this museum. One of the best car museums I have been to.
