انها الباحة التي تعانق السحاب فهي جبله ومرتفعاتها تعانق السحب وهذه المنتزهات فيها جميله مع زخات المطر وعناق الضباب كموجات متلاحقة كل ما صفى منه الضباب عاد اليها من جديد انها تجربة مثيرة

So I went into this place after reading a LOT of positive reviews about how amazing it is. I was disappointed.
Yes it has a LOT of play areas/swings for kids and it has a forest you can walk in but apart from that, it doesn't have much else. Also their were hardly any restaurants or food stalls opened which was annoying. Maybe it is because of the time of year i went (winter season) and maybe in the Summer it is a totally different place...
However, as of right now, I wasn't very impressed by the place and had a way better time visiting the 'Dhee Ayn' (Marble village which is about an hour away from here)

جميله ولكن تفتقد لاشياء كثيره مياه في كل مكان وجود اماكن مخصصه للشواء مع جلسات .. وجود كاميرات مراقبه للتتبع مخالفات الزوار وتغريمهم للحفاظ على نظافة المكان وعدم العبث بالممتلكات العامه .. والمزعج كثرة القرود تطلع فوق السيارات وبين الزوار وهذا مزعج جدا ً لابد من وجود طريقه لمنعها
الباحه جوها عليل ولكن تفتقد للكثير من مقومات السياحه

غابة رغدان من اجمل منتزهات الباحة حيث تحوي اشجاراً غزيرة من العرعر. منتزه منظم وبه اغلب الخدمات تحتاجها الاسره من جلسات مرتبه ومسطحات خضراء وملاهي أطفال. تتميز بموقع مرتفع مطل على شفاء تهامة مما يجعل أجوائها بارده في الصيف. يعيب عليها فقط عدم وجود مواقف كافية السيارات

من الأماكن الرائعة بالباحة وبالسعودية عامة منتزه رغدان وهو في أعلى نقطة بالباحة وبه مساحات خضراء شاسعة ويحتوى على اكثير من ألعاب الأطفال كما يمكن أن ترى من خلاله العقبة التي تؤدي إلى المخواة والمظيلف

غابة رغدان من اشهر المنتزهات بالمنطقة ويتميز بالطبيعة وكثرة الاشجار اضافة لوجود الكشكشات التي تقدم المشروبات الباردة والوجبات الخفيفة .

I found this when looking for information on Raghadan as I catalogue photos from my time living and working In Saudi. I spent a year in Al Baha with Saudi Telecom while working on the Bell Canada International contract with the MoPTT.
Al Baha was my favourite location in the country (except for the scuba diving which we did all along the coast from Jizan, north to Tabuk - amazing!!!), but it seems to have been much different, and still almost untouched, when my wife and I were there. We went to Raghadan hiking many times. Then, there was only a sign saying what it was and we were totally alone and it was one of the few places one could find any sort of tree/brush cover. At the time, baboons were still common and it was possible to see Hyena and even saw leopards once!
Reading this makes me wonder if the other things we did are still possible. We used to take our land cruiser and drive x-country on our off days. The Biljurshie steps, the abandoned village on the escarpment at the outskirts of Al Baha as well as the one at the bottom of the camel trail were amazing places to visit. As well, there were ancient tombs and petroglyphs in the desert, on what I expect was once part of the silk road. In all amazing place and set of experiences. Some of my Al Bahah slides to show what we saw in the day......

Yes, The park is for families only. There are security and police officers at the main gate, as well as patrol cars in the area. Make sure to go early though because the chalets with the most scenic views get take quickly. There are small kiosks throughout the park that sell snacks and beverages, but I would highly recommend that you bring all your picnic needs with you. Have fun!
