Gorgeous beach. Whitest sand I've ever seen. Clear blue water. Clean! No trash, no seaweed, no jelly fish. Good for families or couples. Gentle waves, great for boogie boarding. Went to a wedding on the beach here and it was gorgeous!

We were here on our way to a hike and stopped to enjoy the view. It was a foggy day and there were only a few people on the beach.; Pleasant site.

What a great beach - people just strolling back and forth - walking their dogs (people polite - never saw any dog poo) - a great place to setup chairs and watch the world go by. Saw terns, pelicans, sea gulls, sea lion, and dolphins. Sat and watched pelicans dive for hours. Only drawback - No easy steps down to beach. You gotta climb down boulders.

We stopped here on our tour of the area and enjoyed some great views of the ocean. There are some stores and food places on the other side of the highway. People with surf boards were crossing the road and we could see some surfers waiting for a wave.

We hiked on the trail along the bluff above the beach. With a cool sea breeze, it was very pleasant even though there is no shade. Traffic was a different issue. We came on a weekeday and Highway 92 going to the coast was bumper to bumper traffic. Finding a parking space was also difficult.

We went to dinner at Miramar Restaurant and then took a nice walk along the scenic Miramar Beach area. People were out with their dogs, fishing, biking, and enjoying life. There are houses which were unique and were artist studios to also see.

This beach is relatively protected, and almost always has nice small waves, prefect for beginner surfers or just playing in the ocean. Across the road is a nice restaurant that offers a nice view and amazing food. I bike past there every morning and am always stunned by how nice it is.

I was there in the first week of Dec-2019 with my wife. Its a very serene place and beach, cool and calm. It was not as crowded as Calangute beach, very few people, good cool breeze was blowing and some motor rides to enjoy. Overall I had a very good time at this beach. I recommend this beach to all, and also the beach is very spacious to have other land sports/games to play. I was fortunate to see the amazing sunset from this beach. Loved the place thoroughly.

Can we let dogs off leashes today? How is the access to the beach now?

I'm not sure about dogs being off leashes. Contact the office of tourism to get an answer to that question!
Where if available can we "board" our 2 small dogs while we go on a half day fishing trip
