The Estate Tour at Jordan is their ultimate outdoor experience and I believe is my favorite winery tour to date. You start with their Cuvee and a light breakfast in the morning and learn the history of Jordan winery in the chateau courtyard. You then board their luxury sprinter van and are taken all over the grounds of their 1200-acre estate. There are several stops along to way with two of them having wine tasting and paired food.
The last stop is at their highest hilltop, Vista Point which has a building with walls of glass, so the views are unobstructed. At Vista Point, Jordan's executive chef, Jesse Mallgren was waiting for us. He had prepared lunch for us paired with the last 3 tastings which included a wonderful 2012 Cabernet that sells for $250 a bottle. Each table had custom printed menus with your party's name on it. The pours were decent, and they let us revisit any wine without hesitation.
I am leaving out a lot of detail as I would like to leave most of the tour a mystery. We never felt rushed, and since they only do one of these tours a day, and they are seasonal, there is no hard stop when we have to get back to the chateau. It took us a little over 3.5 hours total, plus time buying gifts when we got back.
Hats off to Jordan Winery, our host Michael, and Chef Mallgren for the perfect tour and tasting. Everything was wonderful and executed to perfection.

Excellent grounds and beautiful chateau. We were treated to a pairing/tasting/tour. Pretty snooty overall but we loved being pampered. Lovely wines, great guide

My family has always celebrated every occasion with Jordan. I was very happy to secure a reservation for my husband and father’s birthday, 50 and 70 respectively. The experience was TERRIBLE. I will never buy another bottle of Jordan. Kinda heartbreaking. The staff was snotty, the pour was light, and they will not allow you to buy a bottle to enjoy on their property. What’s the point of going?!? Silver Oak is quite different. The tasting experience was amazing. The same price and we tried ‘12, ‘16, ‘17, ‘18, ‘19…. Napa AND AV. Jordan have you a one finger of ‘18 and ‘19.
Jordan was a major disappointment and I will unfortunately not buy another bottle.

Cheryl and I visited several wineries on our trip to California. Our favorite was Jordan. The tour was $80 per person. About typical for a winery tour in California. The difference was Jordan and our guide AJ actually took us on a tour that lasted over an hour. Our group met then took a short walk and sampled some Chardonnay. We continued to walk the grounds and talk, entering the oak maturation house. Simply beautiful. We ended in a room with a large table where we sampled more wine of various vintages. The wine was paired with food that brought out the character of the wine. AJ also sent a thank you email upon our return. I highly recommend the Jordan tour.

Enjoyable winery with lovely grounds, wines and staff! FYI- the Chef’s Terrace Tasting consists of light bites. For the price point, we had thought the food would be something a bit more substantial when reading that we’d be enjoying “vibrant seasonal dishes.” Other than that, a lovely day!

Nice wines and food pairings but literally tasted two wines (they only make two); comparison of vintages would have been appreciated. Felt a bit rushed.

This was our first visit to Jordan Winery and we couldn't have been more impressed. They started the tasting tour off with a glass of champagne while we walked the grounds. Then we went into the barrel areas and hear more about the wine making process. The barrel room is beautiful. We ended in a gorgeous painted wall paper room where we sat at tables for the remaining wine and cheese tasting. The wines are chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon in the French style. They were all lovely as was the cheese, bread and olive oil, which is made from olives on the grounds. Highly recommended tour.

Wonderful experience - even the second time around!!!
Our visit to Jordan was memorable and one of the highlights of our Napa Trip 2022.
Our tour guide Michelle K., was so knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to be with. She is well versed in wines having passed a 2 (maybe 3) Sommeliers Certificate Levels. You will learn a lot and have some laughs along the way.
You do not want to miss the wine pairings at the top the vineyard!!!

This place is stunning! We did the vineyard tasting experience and we were not disappointed. The gentlemen who did the tour/tasting was superb (I can't recall his name but he used to sing on Princess cruise lines). The story behind the vineyard/winery is really cool and the building is beautiful as well as the grounds. The walk up to the tasting area, in the vineyards under some great trees was a treat as well. We enjoyed the wine and the food and had great conversations with the other guest. I would not miss this if you are in Sonoma County

Correct. Tours & tastings require advance reservations, but the lobby is open during regular business hours, and guests are welcome to walk around the grounds and over by the rock wall vista.

Hi there,
I've worked at Jordan for five years and am also a Jordan Estate Rewards member. I've attended the Valentine's Dinner with my husband ($295 per person) and also bought tickets for friends to attend the Sunset Supper at Vista Point ($200 per person). Private dinners are only available to members for points, but are really intimate and the food is delicious. I took a group of six friends there for the Lavish Luncheon redemption yesterday (15,000 points for four people), and they all loved it.
