Peter and Mary Beth could not have been more gracious hosts. We got to experience harvest firsthand, and it made our trip. Thank you for treating us like family, we loved every second. Can’t wait to plan our next dream trip to visit you all!

Moni Claire Vineyards is a hidden gem for wine tasting in Healdsburg. Once you discover this winery there is no turning back! The winery is nestled off of Lytton Spring road with the most spectacular view of the valley. Wine maker Pete Smiderle and his lovely wife Mary Beth are the most hospitable and kind hearted hosts. They open their winery and home to all guests with lots of delicious home baked goods and cheeses paired with their wine, depending on the day. In my opinion there are so many large commercial wineries where you are just another tourist, at Moni Claire vineyards you become one of the family members and gain knowledge of the wine making process and the valley. I would rather spend my precious time wine tasting wine that cannot be easily found in grocery stores. Moni Claire gives you an experience of what all wineries should be. You want to see their day to day operations and details of what it takes to make wine.
Also, I appreciate that Moni Claire does an amazing job with both red and white wines. My favorites are their Petite Syrah and their Chardonnay. Also, on my last visit Pete let me try their Zinfandel Rose and that was such a treat.
I would recommend this winery to anyone. Since my last visit I have learned that they have an Airbnb on property so I hope my next visit will include a stay at the winery and lots of wonderful wine poured. This is a winery I never want to leave.

We were skeptical about going to a small vineyard that we've never heard of. We were so delighted and surprised by the beauty of the property and how amazing each of the wines was. Our favorite was the rose--which we bought every last bottle of. And we joined the wine club so we can enjoy them over and over. This is a great stop for small groups. Peter was personable and knowledgeable. We can't wait to come back!

MoniClaire is owned by Peter and Marybeth Smiderle, Healdsburg locals who've been making they're own estate wines for years. They make great zinfandel and petite syrah along with a tasty sauvignon blanc all grown on property.
The tasting experience is reminiscent of what Napa once was before being taken over by corporate mega wine makers. Home grown and personal. Dry Creek is also a gem and worth seeing.

The wine here is all fantastic but the family is so warm and inviting. We love going to their events!! Peter, Marybeth and their girls and granddaughter are great people!!! The wines will draw you in and the family will keep you coming back!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great venue for a family winery in the middle of Dry Creek Valley. Run by two of the nicest, most hospitable hosts in the industry. Good wine, beautiful views and warm company. One of our very favorite visits in wine country!

I've been to MoniClaire Vineyards many times over the years, and every single time I'm there they make me feel like part of the family. Peter is amazing and always answers all my questions as I like to quiz people about everything to satisfy my curious mind and he never seems to mind. The views are FANTASTIC, and they go great with the amazing wine that is produced here. I recommenced this winery to every one, they're still small so the attention to detail and customer service is top notch. If you don't make it a point to head out there you're seriously missing out.

We went here on our wine tour, our last stop and we had our picnic lunch from the general store.It was great to meet Peter the vineyard owner, he was so kind to let us venture on to his deck and enjoy the wines he produces. The view was beautiful and the wines very good.

I had the pleasure of coming here for a small wedding. WOW. First and most important the wine is fantastic. Have been back for tastings and ended up ordering a case (ops).
The property is beautiful, the wedding was incredible, nice, intimate, and the most breathtaking setting.
Nice infinity pool. We will definitely add this to our wine tour stops. The winery is very intimate, you actually get to meet the wine makers!! ...and P.S. they are awesome! So much better than going to snotty Napa!!
