Easy port to get in and out of. Would recommend having Uber drop you off at the Queen Mary and walk over to the porters. This will save you a lot of time. Enjoy your cruise.

We are taking a seven day cruise for our 10th anniversary, but we wasted $4,000 of our money. Zero customer service, no help with anything. They don't tell you to use the Hub app, there are zero maps to anything on board, you have to ask our guess. Food is awful, almost un-eatable. When we boarded no one told us how to get to our room. No one was happy to help us with anything. We paid for a large balcony room, but the refrigerator doesnt work, and only one outlet in the whole room including the bathroom. This is the worst cruise line i've ever been on. First and LAST time i'll ever use Carnival. If you want a good cruise company use Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. Those two are professional but not Carnival. They want your money but not to help anyone. Most horrible anniversary ever.

Everyone was very helpful. There was a delay and we were kept informed of the time wait. Plenty of room. Quick processing, just a delay to get on the ship. Much better terminal than others I have been to.

Its a big space but is organized so boarding is easy. The biggest problem is that folks crowd to the front making it harder for those being called to get through.

Going to cruise in the World Cruise Terminal in San Pedro is a bad choice because transportation from LAX and Long Beach are expensive. In Orlando, FL you can drop a rental car near the port and there are free shuttles to cruise terminal. So the cost of transporation to cruise terminal in San Pedro makes the cruise more expensive.

they took away the handicap line so if your handicap and going on a cruise good luck . we went on a cruise the weekend of may 7th and me with my cane and two bad knees and my friend with his walker. we had to stand out in the sun for three hours while they tried to figure out how to load the ship . it was so disorganized and with no one in charge it was a free for all . i ended getting sunburned on my neck and both arms not really sure if i am wanting to go on another cruise in the future .

We were cruising on Royal Caribbean Navigator of the seas. We arrived with limited time at our he port due to a flight change and the traffic on route. Signs to the terminal were limited and initially our taxi took us to the terminal building which was closed! We then had to go round again and stop at a huge marquee with no obvious signs. Immediately we arrived we were verbally attacked by a female member of staff shouting at us that we would miss the ship as they were closing!
We then had problems with downloading emails of Covid results! We had taken screenshots of the QR code but this was not accepted!
This member of staff was very rude and upset us both. Another two members of staff were more helpful as they could see we were getting upset.
Ironically when we disembarked the ship we read notices about abusive behaviour would not be tolerated!

We weren't sure what to expect because we typically cruise out of Florida. We showed up around 11am with our check in time at 11:30am and there was no line. It took us a second to find where to enter because were were looking for a line or better signage. We walked right in. They looked at our Verifly app, we moved right through security and into the check in line. It was about 10-15 minutes from the time we walked into the building to when we were sitting waiting for them to board the ship. There is plenty of seating and bathrooms in the cruise terminal. They boarded everyone by group/zone numbers which were on our boarding passes. The ship had arrived late due to fog, so we expected to be delayed getting onboard, which was true. But by 12:45 were were onboard having lunch.
Disembarkation was also easy. The only thing I would have liked more of would be signage outside of where to go when arriving and also where to go when departing (directional signs to taxis, uber, bus, etc. would have been nice).

Fast and friendly... Embarkation was efficient and easy. Terminal and the ship were modern and fresh. All the carnival people were cheerful. Great start to a nice vacation

On the Carnival Cruise can you pay them to take pictures of your family on the boat? Not just backdrop pictures.

Hi! We (3 of us) are flying into LAX & looking to spend one night in a hotel near the Long Beach cruise port the night before a cruise on Carnival Panorama. Any advice on the best & most economical way to get from LAX to the Long Beach area? I would also love any advice on hotels near the cruise port that offer free shuttle service to the port. TIA!

there is a shuttle from lax to the port long beach there is hotels by lax and there is quality inn long beach marriotts hollliday inn that has a shuttle to airport long beach the shuttle from there cheaper to take the carnival shuttle to the port if flying into lax

We stayed at the Best Western in Long Beach, not the one near the convention center. The hotel was adequate but the area sketchy. We used Lyft from LAX to the hotel. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to the port terminal which was about 20 min away. It worked out ok, but I would stay closer to the port next time.
