我们在加利福尼亚科技中心待了一整天的时间，入场是免费的，只需要支付停车费用就可以了。在这个科技中心有很多展品和各类东西可以供人学习和娱乐，强烈推荐家庭过来游玩。

除了有展览互动来提高人们对生态系统如何工作的认识外，这个博物馆还收藏了奋进号、穿越太空以及洛杉矶街道的航天飞机，并将它们陈列在一个巨大的机库中。巨大而奇妙，展示的助其发射的燃料箱也是如此。孩子们喜欢亲身体验的展示，尤其是在看水流如何流动的时候。IMAX剧院是很特别的待遇。没有得到最高评级，因为可以将展览空间整体更新。尽管如此，值得一看，尤其是对于孩子们而言。

我们家将奋进号航天飞机的仓和太空探索IMAX电影结合。很棒的结合，而且我们很享受它们。我们也喜欢攀岩墙和其中一个电脑模拟游戏。强烈推荐。注意需要航天飞机的固定时间的入场票。

Here is what the website says about wheelchairs:
"Standard manual wheelchairs are available for free at the Information Desk on a first-come, first-served basis for use inside the California Science Center.
"All spaces in the California Science Center are wheelchair accessible. All levels are accessible by elevator or stairs.
"Parking and Public Transportation
Accessible parking spaces are available on levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Science Center parking lot, entered from 39th Street and Figueroa. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is $12 per vehicle, cash only.
"The Science Center is about 0.2 miles across the beautiful Rose Garden from the Expo Park/USC Station Metro Line.
"Restrooms
All California Science Center restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Private family style restrooms are available upon request—please see any Guest Services Host.
"IMAX Shows
The IMAX Theater offers wheelchair accessible seating at the top of the theater. The theater has an elevator for your convenience. Seats are unassigned. Please speak to an IMAX Usher prior to your designated showtime to inform them of your accessibility needs.

You could easily spend a couple hours there exploring all the exhibits! Get your free tickets for endeavour for the first entrance and you’ll have the whole place to your self for a few minutes!

I see that the Science Center's hours are 10-5, but the last entrance times are at 5 pm...how does that work? Also, how long is the IMAX movie?

They close at 5:00 pm, so get there three hours at least ahead of time to see everything.
The IMAX movies last about an hour.

Is it necessary to buy imax tickets way ahead. I plan on visiting on a weekday when kids should be in school. Any problems buying the day I get there.
