Our guide, Summer, was super friendly and excited about the information she was sharing. Although I'm a knowledgeable LA explorer, I got to learn many new things and discovered a lot of hidden gems in DTLA.

What a wonderful way to experience Los Angeles and it’s history all while enjoying the culinary culture of its Mexican heritage through a taco tour. Our guide Summer was friendly and informative .

Having grown up and worked all his life in Detroit, Bob was a very knowledgeable host who was especially mindful in pointing out the architecture in the city, its history and how the city is trying to make a comeback. He was very forthright about its demise and the attempt to revitalize it. We saw various famous buildings with full explanations about them it the city's history, the river front area with its unique art, theaters and the sports complex (baseball/football stadiums), all within a square-mile or so. Bob also showed us pictures from a book he maintains of Detroit and various famous buildings from their glory days so that we could visualize and appreciate where the city was back in the 50s, 60s and 70s. He captured the essence of Detroit and provided an excellent history/summary of where the city was/is. The walking tour also included a taste of Detroit's famous Coney Island hot dog and the its pizza.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and I liked the personal anecdotes given regarding the different landmarks. It’s always great to have a born and/or raised local giving tours of the city. The accompanying images of landmarks and historic Detroit were very helpful. Only critique/ suggestion I have is possibly having the images printed so they’re all the same size so they’re easy to see or laminated so they don’t fade.

Bob was an excellent tour guide. He knew a lot about Detroit and provided a pleasant and informative tour! Make sure you wear walking shoes and bring a camera because there are some nice spots to take pictures.

This was a fabulous tour for our first night in Hollywood. Our guide Joseph was informative & interesting & made us feel comfortable on our first night in Hollywood. Great to get perspective of the area from a local, who gave us tips on places to go for next few nights. Well worth doing.

Fun and tasty walking tour through Little Armenia, Thai Town and Korea Town. Our guide, Summer, was a font of knowledge on the immigration history of LA. Interesting and tasty at the same time. Would definitely recommend it.

I'm a food tour guide myself so I know the effort that goes into a good tour both before and during the actual tour. Cheyenne nailed it. She's a student of the city and effortlessly shared her knowledge. The food was great too. But it was even better when contextualized by Cheyenne's relaying of the stories and histories that brought the food to the city. highly recommend, duh.

I took a tour today (a Monday) with Yousef. We were a small group of just three. It was a great tour! We really did get to see so much of L.A. which was great for me because I am only in town for a few days. I really wanted to see as much as possible in the few days that I have and this tour was definitely a great fit for me. We did cover a lot of ground but we did everything at a comfortable pace. Yousef was great at keeping us on schedule while still allowing us time to take everything in and take photos.
Yousef was a great guide so if you get him you are very lucky. He has so much knowledge of the areas and the history, he is so kind to people (he literally said hello to like 20 people on Hollywood blvd who all knew him), he was also so patient with us, and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time and I really appreciated that.

We were fortunate enough to get Sparrow all to ourselves (my wife and I) for the Total L.A. Tour the day after Christmas, which turned out to be a great idea because there were no crowds at all.
We had places such as the Walk of Fame and the Dolby Theatre with minimal people.
She was such a friendly host and showed and informed us of things we would have just walked by without knowing.
Only thing that (for us) we could recommend was replacing the visit to the Paley Media Centre with something else and instead of the Beverly Gardens Park sign i think a photo with the iconic Beverly Street Sign such as the one at intersection of North Santa Monica Blvd and Doheny Drive would be better.
Apart from that it was a great tour.
I recommend SPARROW!!

Hi Vanessa! The drinks vary in size and are chosen based on their relevance to each location. We like to keep our stops a surprise until the tour as they're hand-picked for being hidden gems and offer a lot as far as ambiance and history go.
