Incredibly cozy, charming area. Peaceful to stroll around in. Bicycles and electric scooters not allowed. Took an Uber there. Was there around 10am, few tourists then

Really nice are to have a romantic walk around. Cute little bridges and canals with pretty flowers and wildlife. Even got stuck behind a duck party as they headed home after a 'hard' day swimming. It's a really pretty area and worth visit.
Only knocked 1 star off as it is a bit of a pain to get to on public transport.

It’s a terrible attraction, with old ditches and smelly smells. I was deceived by the reviews!
A desolate scene dominates this walkway, with no activity or crowds, making it feel monotonous. Lack of management and maintenance has resulted in damaged road pavements, overgrown vegetation and weeds, making the roads appear desolate. Tourists are unable to find any attractive attractions or entertainment facilities, resulting in a lack of experience and disappointment. The pedestrian walkways in Venice, California, are in urgent need of improved management and new vitality to attract more visitors and improve the quality of the experience.

Coming to Los Angeles and not coming to admire the environment of these canals would be a real shame.
Quiet place about a hundred meters from Venice Beach.
Multicolored houses, ducks, boats and even a barge, so zen!
We loved it.

It is a quiet and beautiful residential region with canals network separating between houses with a sense of tranquility. The visit is nice, but a short round and quick pictures are typically enough. A visit using a car is possible as well, especially since it is relatively isolated far from Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

If you are from the UK don't waste your time visiting here. I have seen cleaner canals in Birmingham and that's saying something. I honestly can't see the hype of this area, the water was a filthy green, there were a few ducks and canoes anchored oh and some nice houses apart from that a complete waste of an hour! Walking there from Venice Beach was an eye opener though.

Sorry，just saw this! Yes, Uber can drop u off right at the walk, and I saw some parents walked with stroller. The whole walk if you want to be at every corner, let’s say under 40 minutes with normal speed

You could have a brief rest on the low wall of the Dell Avenue bridge. It is about the height of a bench. Also, further south on Dell, towards Venice Bl, pop into the park next to the ducks' area!
Those are the options.
When you get to the pier on the beach, there are loads of benches!
