If you want to learn about Shakespeare this is the place . They explain all the book of Shakespeare. This visit just made me want to read Shakespeare.

A lot of fun! We came upon it while explorting the wharves. Charming person in charge. we are both Shakespeare fans. We could have spent an hour there. Anyone really into Shakespeare and in the area must visit it!

Fabulous collection of all things Shakespeare! If you have ever enjoyed or read a Shakespeare play, you’ll love the history and the amazing collection in this sanctuary.
There are playbills from the 1700’s along with thousands of books and busts.
This is a must see for anyone with even a passing interest in the Bard.

We visited the Shakespeare Society of America. There are a number of exhibits to see. There is also a gift store. Its a fun place to visit especially if you like Shakespeare.

We had a great time poking around and learning about the museum pieces. The Proprietor was very knowledgeable and told some amusing tales. This would be a great high school English or drama class field trip as the hands-on learning experience would really resonate with kids at that age. It would allow for them to understand Shakespeare at another level.

When the Shakespeare plays ended at the Old Globe in Los Angeles, they finally ended up in Moss Landing. Costumes, books, photos etc.

I am sure that there is a suitable Shakespeare quote! This was an unexpected pleasure. After our slough cruise and lunch, we wandered along the rather forlorn row of shops (maybe more lively on weekends?).
The Shakespeare shop was great! The enthusiasm of Terry, the manager/owner?, was infectious. He was a compelling historian and very informative about the story behind how this little piece of theatre came to be in Moss Landing. There was plenty to see with a range of displays (costumes, masks, models) and an eclectic range of things for sale.
