If you have the chance to sail with Captain Les, do it! We had a last minute change in our schedule and he was able to accommodate our group for a Saturday daytime sail. We ended up with an incredible, memorable, day on the water. We sailed out to open water and found a pod of over a thousand dolphins that were swimming and jumping and frolicking around the boat. Captain Les did an incredible job of providing insight and information (and taking photos of our group!) as well as letting us have our time together and not hover. He's a warm, welcoming host and you're in capable hands. The boat has comfortable seating and you can also go up on the bow for the ocean breezes. Would recommend if you have the chance and hope to return myself in the future.

I chartered the boat for a nice afternoon with friends. 10/10 would recommend Captain Les George. Not only was he VERY experienced, but also a total gentleman. We saw dolphins, sea lions and had a very relaxing time. We brought snacks and drinks. The boat was beautiful and a fun and unique experience. Hope to make it out to California soon, so we can see Les again!

Had an amazing time! Celebrated my Mom's birthday with the family and had an absolute blast. Captain Les was awesome - great personality and made sure we had a good time. I would highly recommend - no better way to spend a day in Oceanside.

We had a terrific sailing experience with Captain Les George on his beautiful boat, Obsession! Captain Les is very experienced sailor and great host, very personable, and relaxed. He taught us a little about sailing, and we felt very safe. The boat was very comfortable for our group of 6. We enjoyed learning a little about how to sail. You definitely should do this sail. We highly recommend it.

My wife and I were very lucky to an opportunity to sail on Obsession. After sailing we went to the Jolly Roger restaurant for an excellent happy hour. There we reflected on how pleasant our sail was including the opportunity get close to see many porpoises, seals and pelicans.

We spent 2.5 hours on a beautiful afternoon sailing up and down the Pacific Coast outside Oceanside Harbor. Although we didn't spot whales we sailed far enough out that it was a possibility. Captain Les George has raced up and down the coast to Mexico. He allowed anyone who wanted to steer the vessel which was exhilarating. (He was right there able to help at any moment) The boat was clean and Les is very personable, hoping everyone is enjoying his favorite thing.

Was out off the coast of Carlsbad with Captain Less on his awesome sailboat, Obsession. Less was incredible and such an experienced Captain. One of the best day sailing characters ever. Thank you Captain.

Really awesome experience! Some friends, my husband and I went for a Sunset sail with Captain Bill. We've done many boat tours so we expected the typical touristy thing. Instead this was like sailing with family. Low key and relaxing and Bill's "what happens on the boat" attitude is really fun. The highlight was getting to see the GREEN FLASH at sunset. I thought people made it up but it was incredible. If you want to go sailing in southern california, do yourself a favor and call Cap'n Bill!

Sailing aboard the 39' sailing ship Obsession was a fantastic experience. This was my first time sailing, and the Captain, Les George, truly knows his way around the sea.
Captain Les allows you to get totally involved in sailing the ship, or you can just sit back and enjoy the ocean.
We saw dolphins and sea lions during our trip. Unfortunately there were no whales to be seen :(
I highly recommend sailing aboard the Obsession when you are in the Oceanside area.
