Staying in Monterey for the summer and just signed up for one month of unlimited classes at Sweet Heat Hot Yoga. This studio is wonderful! It's very clean and is a nice community. The instructor was fantastic, very encouraging and providing corrections that just really made sense and helped immensely. Today's class even ended with organic yoga pose cookies...how sweet is that? I can't wait to go back! I love Sweet Heat Hot Yoga!

Was in Monterey for a week and never tried hot yoga, but wanted to stretch. They have a drop in price and towels and mats are available. The 6am teacher was awesome and the experience was very good so we went back for another class 2 days later.
The place was clean and didn't have the sweaty smell I was expecting. I was able to follow the lesson by listening to the instructor and seeing the more experienced students. There were plenty of students at all different levels.

If you're traveling and a fan of Bikram Yoga (sometimes called hot yoga or hatha yoga), you will love this studio. It's been recently remodeled and the teachers are all wonderful and kind souls. If you're a local and haven't tried it, you should. It will change your life! 90 minutes in a heated room sounds daunting but you will leave feeling energized and refreshed. There is also a nice selection of yoga clothing and accessories.
