we had terrace tickets which included charcuterie tray and optional alcoholic drink. Fantastic view over the valley and nice with open fires to keep warm at dusk. But the best part was when you went down among all the lights and were surrounded by everything, like a fairy tale!!

The place is fantastic, unbelievable. One of those places where you never stop taking pictures. Worth every penny. It has good structure with food truck of Mexican food and restaurant with American food, as well as bar with alcoholic beverages. My family was delighted.

As above, we visited the sensorio light show. The show was good and all of us enjoyed the lights. Only, suggestion I have is that there are no clear exit signs to exit the display. In our group, there were 2 senior citizens, 1 adult and 2 children. It took some time to figure out the exit.

Paid for All Access and so glad we did. Arrived right as they opened, got the perfect table on the Terrace, enjoyed 1 drink as part of the package, ordered pizza and salad , then walked over to the market to get some yummy Beignets to enjoy while the sun was setting and lights began to show off. After dark the walk thru the lights is beyond words!!!!

An enjoyable evening walking amongst the lights.
We were glad we went but wished there were more lights to see.
Peaceful and beautiful scenery.

The most stunning experience. We watched the sun set and the lights come on. What a transformation! Full moon too! Recommend sitting next to the fires to stay warm and wearing warm clothing. Had a stroller which was very helpful to navigate all the different art installations. Very magical night!

The visual experience was at times enchanting, with a mystical feel, especially their new Dimensions display.
It’s the other stuff that adds cost without value, like the worthless “VIP” experience, which felt nothing like such an upgrade should feel.
Also, DO NOT buy either the crudite or the charcuterie (not enough for two as described, and certainly not worth $30!)
The crowd seemed extra entitled, inconsiderate, and at times rude.
I really liked the lights (except the fireflies, which looked like jellyfish), but the layout was a little choppy and confusing, and there were no announcements when that would have been helpful.

Beautiful solar powered field of lights. We visited in April on a warm clear evening which made the experience very pleasant. We arrived just as the sun was setting, so took some nice photos. As the sky darkened, we could see the twinkling stars above the twinkling field of lights. There are other light exhibits (jelly fish and towers), but we thought the fields were most unique and picturesque. Check out the various ticket prices and purchase tickets online. They have live music, food trucks and a gift shop. Apparently they will have new exhibits and ticket options at the end of May 2024.
Paso Robles has a quaint downtown city park area filled with great restaurants and wine tasting options.

Over priced but beautiful. The whole wall of lights is 1/2 a mile. Lots of mosquitoes so wear bug spray.

Sorry I missed your question - don't know about RV parks, although you can google it I'm sure. The closest hotel is probably La Quinta, or if you prefer better lodgings, there's the Allegretto Resort and Spa on North River Road which crosses Hwy 46 right near the intersection with the 101. Also, there's many hotels in Paso just along the 101.

The VIP experience mentions dinner and private bathrooms. Are those same dinner items available for purchase there? Also, don't see anything about "general admission" bathrooms. Is it... porter potties or something kind of nasty?

I believe when they talk about dinner they are just referring to the fact that VIP people have tables to sit at and eat. Regular admission does not have access to the VIP Terrace and one fast food building with the tables. Currently the two food trucks are available to all (the taco truck was DELICIOUS) and then VIP have a place to sit on the terrace with tables. Non-VIP would need to sit on the wall edges or go back to where the music stage is to have a seat and hold the food on their laps. In the future, they said they will have 2 restaurant areas of sorts but they have not completed construction yet. I think they are supposed to be completed in the next 3 years. As far as bathrooms, I don't recall noticing the ones outside of the VIP area, but I also don't recall seeing any port-a-potties. So I THINK they must have had a building there but I'm not sure. Anyone else know?

I know it says no refund, but I figured that meant if the visitor was to cancel, not them. I know they do not email back or return calls. Has anyone not gotten a refund and canceled the charge on Am Ex?

If I buy a ticket for a certain time can I arrive at any point after my ticket time or do I have to be there when the time is marked. I'm nervous I might be late driving down from SF and want to make sure I'm still going to be let in if I arrive at 7:30pm for my 7:00pm ticket. It does say 7:00pm-11:00pm. Thanks.

They were so flexible when we.arrived that i don't think it is. a. problem at all. The main. thing. is just that they. don't want people. to. show up too early, but the window after than is pretty open

1. I have a 26’ RV. Is there adequate parking for my vehicle? Might they have a special area for RVs to park?
2. I have looked at the map. How much walking is there if you walk from the main entrance to the “light towers” which appears to be the furthest point from the entrance?

I believe there is parking for larger vehicles. The lights are not that far a leisurely walk that can be enjoyed by an advantage point. (You will pass by food vendors before the lights) However, when you walk within the lights, it is a one way adventure which is about a mile walk. Defiantly worth the trip.
