Family Fun

I take my granddaughter 2 times a year, it's inexpensive, close and gives us something to do she's 3, so I get to see her reaction as she grows and she loves animals. Great park!!

Great Experience - Worth The Drive

I purchased a Groupon for my adult son and I to have the Guided Tour and Extreme Feed. It was a great deal, and we had a great time. I bought the Groupon that was for 2 adults and 2 children even though we had no children, because that Groupon cost was less than if we paid for everything individually.
The staff is very friendly. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately I forgot her name. (She is the one who has 11 snakes and 2 tarantulas of her own.)
The Guided Tour is worth the extra price because you learn many details about the animals that you would not know if you just walked the sanctuary on your own. The animals are much closer to view than they are at the zoo.
We went on a Saturday and it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded. The tour had 10-15 people in it. It lasted a little over an hour. You can also walk all around on your own after the tour if you'd like.
Go 20 minutes early to see all of the reptiles in the lobby. That is where the tour starts, so you will know exactly which reptile they are talking about.
We live an hour away, and both of us felt it was worth the drive.
It is down a long and bumpy dirt road, so don't wash your car before you go. My Lexus RX made the drive just fine. Thank God for Google maps, or you would never find this place.

Will definitely come back again

I came to this place on my day off. I had already seen an ad on GROUPON so i decided to do research of its whereabouts and what it was. I got the general admission which was $10 and 2 extreme feeds ( you feed two animals of your choice from leopard, bear, lion, tiger, mountain lion,etc), Next time i will still get at least 1 extreme feed ticket and will upgrade to the guided tour, just so i can get a little more information about each specific animal that is there and how it got there. I will totally recommend checking it out specially if you got little kids.

Don't go in the summer. They don't open until noon and it's around 100+. Not a lot of animals and they are put in small enclosures. I aplode them for what they are trying to do with rescue animals, but don't think they have the funds to do it.

The kids love it

Great place to tak the kids for an outing. The animal habitats are clean, well kept, and although I hate that the big cats are confined, I am aware that they were rescued from less than optimum situations and assume their life is better now. There are many different animals and a friendly staff to answer questions and provide information. It is great that we have this attraction in the high desert.

A walk on the Wild Side

We just stumbled upon this animal sanctuary while we were looking for things to do out in the Glendora/Rancho Cucumonga area. The animals are all wild, exotic animals who were rescued from people who had them as pets. There are tigers, a bear, a lion, "zonkeys", a jaguar, monkeys, alligators, and so much more. All the animals are very well cared for by the owners and staff. They all have their own unique personality as well. It is a great place to learn more about wild animals.

Good place to visit

Very nice staff, clean, lots of different animals to see. Great place for everyone to learn about the animals and the ability to feed them and see them up close. Worth the trip from LA. Warning: there is no sign indicating the place so you have to careful not to miss the road. You have to turn into a dirt road. It's a long clay and VERY bumpy road. You will think you went the wrong way. Keep driving and hold on- its about a mile long.

Lions and tigers and sloths, oh my!

My husband is fascinated by tigers. So rather than make the trip to Tiger Island in Australia, we went to Forever Wild in Phelan. We toured with friends -- it's self-guided.

But the highlight was getting to feed Princess, the white tiger!

There's an extra charge for this, but it's well worth the $5. The day we were there, there was also the cutest tiger cub. A great place to take kids or grandkids. (The friends who accompanied us live in Apple Valley and have taken their grandchildren here several times.)

And, there's a sloth!!!
