My family took me to Paxton's on a recent vacation from the East. One can have a glass of wine, or taste wines, and also opt to order dinner from two or three restaurants nearby. The atmosphere is quiet and conducive to relaxed conversation. There are tables as well as armchairs and a sofa.
The owner is a knowledgeable, friendly fella transplanted from Napa. His wine recommendations were wonderful and we also thoroughly enjoyed dinner from the restaurant next door as well as chatting with him about his experiences.
This was a lovely, unhurried and delightful place to begin our family vacation!

Went on a weekend evening and the place had a few people in it but not at all busy. The owner and his daughter were working the front and the owner was very friendly, liked to talk to people and made you feel welcome. They also have menus from local restaurants so they can bring you food if you wish but also have snacks for free while you taste.

Phillip and Amelia and family host a potpourri of locals who love wine. We stay nearby to avoid driving home as a tasting of three or four wines is a great way to get to know a specially chosen California specialty vintage or location. Next door Caprice will bring food over if the night stretches to a long one. We had them host a couple of private tastings that were well-done, always interesting choices. One of the highlights of Redlands.

This is a great little wine bar located downtown on State st. Phillip one of the owners is very knowledgeable about wine and introduces you to new and exciting wines. You can stay for a tasting or purchase bottles to take home. He offers a nice price point is friendly and fun. A must visit.
