I walk through this park several times a week. It's an easy hike that can be done by all including seniors and children. There are orange groves, well kept trails, and amazing views of the mountains and all of San Bernardino. In the summer there are plays in an outdoor theater. Plenty of places for photo opportunities.

Our granddaughter took us here to show us the beauty of Redlands. The views of the mountains and city are amazing and there are lots of walking trails, gardens and picnic areas even in March. I imagine that in the summer it is even more attractive but we enjoyed our walk anyway.

Who doesn’t love exploring a Bamboo forest? There are trails all over the park to hunt for Bengal tigers. Citrus trees abound. The views are amazing. So many photo opportunities. We like to go on the stage of the outdoor theater and pretend we are in a production of Hamilton. We once attended a birthday party in The rentable Carriage house in the park.

I seriously love this park! Every time I come to this area for business I have to take short walk around the orange groves, palm trees, and such! The view of the Loma Linda, and San Bernardino is nice as well. If the smog is light you can actually see I-15 heading into the mountains. If you here for a short while or long term .. visit!

Beautiful and overall a great place to take the family. I see weddings going on here and is in a great neighborhood in Redlands. If you feel like taking a drive a little more east, go to Caroline Park or take a cruise through the beautiful houses.

The winter is particularly enjoyable with a light jacket. Not crowded... a peaceful and relaxing walk. Not a huge time commitment either 30min works magic.

Prospect Park is a botanical garden with trees and plants brought in and planted from all over the world by the Smiley Brothers, who were patron saints of early Redlands. The carriage roads that wind through the park offer a few lookouts over the San Bernardino Valley and make for a nice place to stop and take in the scenery. There are a few picnic tables below on Cajon street and also inside the park by the Carriage House. The overall feel of the park takes you back to a different time, back to an earlier age of gentle virtues, ...like strolling through a park! The park is also home to The Redlands Theatre Festival which offers repertory productions in the summer months... Plus the Kimberly Crest Mansion is right next door offering tours as well. Many weddings take place at the Mansion as well as the Carriage House in the park. A great place to take a walk, have a picnic, and take in nature.

This is a lovely park for a stroll and a picnic--even a place to take a book and linger for an afternoon. Nice waling loops, beautiful views.
