I had the best time on my tour. The food was incredible, and our host was amazing. It was my birthday, and the weather was perfect! Thank you for such an awesome tour.

Maddy was excellent in sharing her love of her town with us. Her knowledge was praiseworthy and her chosen restaurant venues were excellent. It was an unforgettable afternoon and I recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our trip.

The Downtown Santa Barbara Food Tour was delicious, informative, and really FUN!!! Nancy was an amazing guide and gave us lots of bits of information about Santa Barbara as well as the food establishments, government buildings, and stores we visited on the tour!!!

This was a fabulous tour. I am a local and still learned things about SB history. Each of our stops served superb food and drinks in abundance. I thought we would just have small tastes of food but we had full sized margaritas(3 of them) and full sized tacos. Our guide, Nancy, was informative and great to chat with. I recommend this tour with great enthusiasm and look forward to doing anothet.

Really great food tour!! Our guide Maddy was friendly, funny, knowledgable, and accommodating. She also seemed to have great relationships with staff at all of the places we stopped by. Loved learning more about Santa Barbara and stopping by places like the Courthouse, as well as tasting lots of yummy food (we had wine + cheese, tacos, asian fusion baos, pasta, and ice cream on ours). thank you!

Fun fun fun! Come Hungary!!! Great thing to do with adult children. Very accommodating hosts! Great variety of tacos, salsas and margaritas! Perfect ending with churros and horchata! And even learned a bit of Santa Barbara history.

This tour was amazing, delicious and so informative! Even as a local I found myself learning new things about the history of SB, and more importantly eating tacos at places I’d never been to but will absolutely return to in the future. This is such a fun way to get to know the city!

My husband and I had an amazing time on this food tour. Our tour guide, Maddy was the best! The food and wine choices were delicious. We could not have asked for a better experience. Would definitely recommend, and would do it again!

Do you like great food, walking, and fantastic history? Then don’t leave Santa Barbara without doing this tour! As an avid Santa Barbara visitor what haven’t I seen? Lots! Our guide Maddy expertly guided us through the streets, alleyways, and hidden gems of Santa Barbara for the better part of an afternoon.
I don’t know about you, but in my world, a tour doesn’t start until you’ve sat by a fire and sipped local wine. Doesn’t that world sound amazing? I think so too. Lucky for you Maddy’s world is the same as mine. From delicious local wine to a quaint Italian bistro, and amazing views this tour does not disappoint. Come hungry and leave full of culture and a warm heart.

Hi there Leila,
Because this is a walking food tour, we do not pick up or drop off at hotels - Uber or the state street trolley would be your best bet. The tour is about 3.5 hours, give or take. We walk a little under 2 miles in total, the longest stretch of walking at one time is maybe 3 blocks. Thank you!
