My grandkids love it! We have seven grandkids from 1 - 11 years old, and there was something for everyone to do. The craft room was a hit for the older ones, but I think they enjoy all the areas, maybe the airflow was the favorite. They hope to return next time they come for a visit.

My grandson always enjoys going to the museum when he comes up to visit, engaging in the different activities. I think $6 per person is a little pricy.

A little expensive and a little funky, but still kids can have a lot of fun. Staff is friendly and helpful. Try it out.

The Discovery Museum is a great hands on experience for young kids! All types of fun things to do and the kids can learn many new things while having fun. Took our grand daughter there 1 1/2 years ago and stated 3 hours. I took a photo of her on the rock climbing wall and scared at an angle that made her look high up and sent to her mom. Sent the mom into a tizzy. Highly recommend parents and grandparents take their kids there.

I received a gift of membership from a co-worker when my daughter was four years old. We have renewed every year even though she's about to turn 10. Most people think the Discovery Museum is for "little kids" but they've recently updated most of the exhibits and they are more appealing to older children now (while still being appropriate for little ones). We don't go nearly as often as we used to, but it is still a wonderful local attraction. There are special events, and summer camps and so many things that keep us going back for more. Family membership is totally worth it.

Thanks for being a member! Our museum is a great place for whole family...from our newest exhibit, the Vandenberg Launch Experience, to our Makerspace, to our Tot Spot, there is something for everyone!

This is a little gem of a museum. Great place to bring the kids and there is plenty of hands on displays for them to participate. Enjoy the pirate ship & tar-pit display.

There are so many things for kids to choose from to experience, create, learn, try & burn off some steam.
I have been there several times and the kids keep wanting to return as they periodically add new exhibit experiences! Some of the "regular" interactive stations include a bank which includes pretend money, ATM machine, a phone, drive up window and even a pretend check. There is also a "cafe" where they can serve plastic food to accompanying adults & siblings (who get to place an "order"). It's so cute to see them finding pota to "cook" pretend french fries & burgers etc. Teaches serving skills too. There's a kid size John Deere tractor they can crawl around on, learn how a sewer works, take the wheel of a "ship", work with magnets, plant some small plants & then TAKE THEM HOME too! Various arts & crafts are also available, limited only by ones imagination, rock climbing wall, dress-up clothes working with magnets, legos, and much more!!!

This place is so much fun! It has all kinds of activities and it’s ALL hands on! You can easily go from station to station or take a seat and watch them explore. The kids loved it and the fact that they could touch everything was even better! 😁👍🏽

I have taken my grandkids there several times and have been impressed with the kid-friendly exhibits on display. Lots of hands-on activities that stretch the imaginations of the little ones. They can play banker, fireman, archaeologist, farmer, or a number of other activities. The adults also seem to enjoy the interactive displays. There is even an area were you are able to plant a garden herb and take it home to transplant.

Children love this place, and as an accompanying adult, I do too. The hands on areas are a lot of fun and interesting.
