I have lived in Sonoma for years but have never been to the Enoteca side of Della Santina. They do share the same menu, so the food is excellent. They have one table in the back which will seat up to six people, so private and quaint, just loved it. They are known more as a wine bar, so dozens and dozens of selections...this place is a must.
I hate to say this though...might be harder to get in next time.

The wines by the glass list is impressive! Knowledgeable people behind the bar that will be happy to point you in the direction of what you are looking for or even to try something new.

We were in Sonoma doing vinyards all day. We would come back planning to find a great place to eat and have more wine. Easier said than done!! Apparently all tasting rooms must stop serving by 5 or 6PM. It was very hard to find anything open in the evening. This place was an amazing find. We would never have seen it, but a woman at a tasting room who was closing up told us about it. MANY wines from all over the world. Food was FABULOUS. We ate at the bar, but they had a wonderful patio outdoors and a few tables. It was a very nice end to our little getaway.

Serviço e localização bons. Quem for com intenção de comer um bacalhau português à lagareiro não é o local. Havia apenas uma opção desfiada de bacalhau no menu. Pedimos um cassoulet de porco e uma caldeirada de marisco acompanhados por um vinho tinto português.

The food (esp. the duck paparedelle), wine list and service are very good. We enjoy the outdoor seating during all seasons of the year. Go try one of your Italian favorites, or try something new. The kitchen knows what they are doing, and there are many good, local, well priced wines wines to compliment.

Our friend Dave works in the wine bar and it was a great experience we came back a couple times during our 4 night stay. The food was great, Dave was amazing, and the people we met made our experience a great one. Such a great little place to stop in have some wine and eat delicious food. I can't wait to be back in Sonoma to visit Enoteca again.

Very good food combined with friendly, expert staff and fine, local wine. The pappardella with duck was delicious, as was the risotto with salmon, prawn and calamari. It went perfectly with a Crosby Roamann cab finished with Felicia and coffee. Truly wonderful dining experience!

We went to Enoteca Dellasantina to meet our friends thinking that we would only stay there only to have a glass of wine.
Fortunately we decided to stay and eat, ¡what an experience!
We mostly ordered their pasta dishes which were all of them awsome but we shared the Tripa alla Florentina which was the best Tripa I have tried ever.
There is as a wine bar a huge selection of wines from Europe and America all of them very reasonably priced.
Overall a very good experience

Can't say enough about our experiences here. First time, the bartender David was very friendly and attentive. Clearly loves his job which translates to great service and conversation for us. The owner, Rob, was also a good dude. We met the other bartender another night who does a great impersonation of a drunken John Wayne swagger. :)
If you want nothing other than a great glass of wine (they have a huge selection of wines by the glass), good conversation and a chance to mingle with the locals, this is a must stop while in Sonoma. Cheers!

Surprisingly wide European selection which dwarfs the domestic offerings - not that this leaves you short of local options and with Charles at the helm you're sure to be well directed. A lovely place to sit at the bar on a quiet early week evening.
