This is a convenient resort for winter sports. It is right on I-80 and much closer than Lake Tahoe in driving time. It's a big basic slope with groomed experiences and lifts and a big parking lot. Icy on the day I was there.

Senior season tickets is $75.00. A great place to learn to ski or snowboard. Nice selection of food.

I went snowboarding for the first time and had an AMAZING experience. The self serve kiosk was easy to use, the equipment rental process was super quick, and the staff were really friendly. Huge shout out to Ethan for helping my friend out with his injury. Ethan went above and beyond to help him recover. Overall, I rate my experience 5/5 and highly recommend you visit.

For beginners learning to ski, this is a convenient ski resort that has relatively easy slopes to learn on. With young kids in the family, the lift ticket pricing is really reasonable, as compared to other larger resorts. For kids younger than 5, it costs like $10 a day. You can buy your tickets online for a pretty good discount. Lift ticket scanning system is good and convenient. Restroom is relatively close by to the green slope... good for kids who need to go often. :)

This is a ski area that is very easy to get to because it is right on I-80. And it's a no-frills place that has reasonable prices. Well-maintained.

We came up on a Friday early morning and weather conditions were amazing. Not even a wind chill! Decided to come here cause 3 of our group were more beginners and we were not disappointed.
All the signs were fantastic. Knew exactly where to go.
The online kiosks were extremely fast and helpful. Our friends were able to get their rentals within 15 minutes and we were off to the mountain.
LOVING the new RFID cards. We just had to make sure we kept them on our person and they were able to be scanned.
All the trails and areas were perfectly groomed.
The best thing about this trip was how amazing and helpful the staff was. Everyone was insanely kind, genuine and friendly. A friend of mine had to take a break here and there and each time, there would be someone different that came up and asked if she was ok and if she needed anything.
Huge thank you to the Boreal team. My family, friends and I will definitely be back.

Boreal is Greedy, Greedy, Greedy. I think charging $180.00 dollars for a 1.5 hour tubing session, including parking, for 2 parents and 2 little kids is highway robbery. Not only that, when my 2 year old decided it was too cold (before we even started), and I tried to get a refund, they dispassionately mentioned that their policy is not to take refunds. I spoke to about 5 people who told me the same thing. I saw families without much money fork over hundreds of dollars so that their kids could play in the snow for an hour. Greed is good according to Boreal Ski Resorts, and family to them is just an opportunity to squeeze money out of people. I don't think tubing should have the same hourly rate as lawyers. It's always concerning to hear underpaid employees tell you that the reason for the their usury is a corporate policy, and then to have no access to the Gordon Geckos eating the common person with "company policy". If you're such a company please don't advertise as a "family friendly" resort, merely a parasitic one.

We went there on December 28 and charged us $30 parking ticket and toilets are disgusting and they don’t let you touch snow you must pay $15 the manger he left the dog without leash and dog attack every one and manager very rude and food super dirty and expensive,I don’t know whey health department did not check that nasty place ,is not worth a penny.

Very nice and helpful person helped us with signing up for kids ski lessons.
But that was pretty much all that was good. The group lesson itself was 2 hours in those 2 hours they slid downhill (if you can call it that) on snow maybe 4 times approximately 20 feet. The rest of the time they were standing around and returned to the meeting area 30 minutes prior to pickup. The weirdest lesson I've ever seen and I've been to ski lessons myself in three different countries before.
The poor instructor was mostly busy with babysitting kids that were so young they couldn't even carry their own equipment. My daughter who was one of the participants in the beginner group partly took care of the very young kids. Maybe if your kid is that young you should do privates. Also the group had more than 10 kids with one instructor totally weird especially when there are a lot of very young kids in it. Also please don't mix 12 year olds and 4 or 3 year olds in one group, that just doesn't work.

First to open last to close. Great for skiers of all levels. Regardless of the weather, one lift ALWAYS runs. Rentals not overpriced. They often have things like DJ's, sponsored events, and a great school. Woodward is next door and has trampolines, skate park, bike trick areas, parkour lessons, and classes of all kinds. loved it and we'll see you next year.
