Love this place! We came twice during our weekend. We all made candles (some of us more than one) and my boys even made ceramics. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The prices are great. This was a lot of fun and I would drive back to Truckee just to stop here!

Cool spot for everyone who wants a break from skiing and a chance to be creative. Make custom candles, paint a piece of pottery or make a stuffed animal. Staff is pretty attentive and helpful.

My granddaughter and grandson say "this place is GREAT"! We painted pottery and watched candles being made. Granddaughter said we have to give this place the most stars ever!

Our daughter loved this! Ability to go in, sit down, and create! You can make candles, mosaics, paint, etc. Staff is super friendly and helpful with tips and tricks to make things work more smoothly! A repeatable experience for the "crafters" out there!

We came during our Spring Break. Not much snow on the ground so what else to do? Candle making.... My niece 14 and my daughter 11 both loved the whole process of making their own candle. Somewhat pricey $26 and up but it killed a couple hours. They got to chose the shape, the scent, cut the colors of wax they wanted, pick out cute cut out designs and chose the hot wax filler material. The lady behind the counter seemed busy but would stop if we had questions.
There's also a section to paint pottery too! Overall a good place to show off your creativity. Let's see if the boys want to do it after we pick up the candles!

Wow! Love this place! Our two boys 12 and 14 loved making candles! Love the creative way they make the candles and no risk of hot wax. Sara is the "Candle Whisper" and has the "it" factor in working with diverse groups from kids to grown ups! Boys had fun selecting shapes and cutting wax chips and adding ready made wax cutouts for very professional looking candles! ALL loved watching the finishing process from the mega vat of hot wax and the real life cooling waterfall and mini river! We'll make this an annual visit! Better long lasting memories than a t-shirt!
