Dear Clementlamkw, I’m the owner of AdMo-Tours. I looked into your case now and I was informed at the time of your cancelation. My apology if you feel so terrible negative about AdMo. I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s health issue which changed your travel plans. Unfortunately the availability of rental motorcycles is quite limited during high season, often booked completely several months in advance. We can never guarantee availability before receiving prepayment. The stations we working with will not hold bikes just on the hope our customers might book. My apologies also for our Salesman perhaps not knowing all answers to your questions. He sends those questions to the local provider and relays the answers to the customer once they replied, often a bit time consuming... Especially since you inquired for 2 to 4 bikes the AdMo Salesman advised you to submit your reservation rather sooner. Only after your reservation was submitted you told us that your friends getting their bikes at other sources in other cities and we need to reserve 1 bike for you. AdMo’s 20% cancelation fee is necessary to cover the cost. Beside of banking fees and labor involved on our end the local stations seldom can fill each day of the canceled time. On a 11 day reservation like yours they will always have several days which don’t match future bookings and the bike will be sitting even during the high season. We also offered you part of this deposit towards a later rental at the same station. I understand and I’m sorry that this is not always convenient and you were not able to use it. Since we encounter cancelations quite frequent we include the following statement in our Terms and Conditions and send it with the invoice: “AdMo-Tours strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations.” I can see several emails between the rental provider and AdMo. David’s Negotiations ended with no success. I’m sorry for your loos. I understand your frustration and I’m looking forward to serve you next time when your plans work out.
