I enjoyed a 60 min Body Polish Salt Scrub. Gloria was absolutely amazing. Wonderfuly strong hands with years of knowledge and experience. After entering the spa, robe and sandals were provided along with a personal locker. I was able to enjoy the woman’s hot tub, aromatic eucalyptus steam room and dry sauna prior to my scrub. Of course use of these areas were available after the treatment as well. A quiet woman’s rest area was very peaceful. Hot teas, fruit water, light snacks ie nuts, yogurt pretzel snacks and dried fruit were complimentary. Full shower and dressing room also available.

Beautiful indoor coed grotto. The masseuses were excellent! The steam room and saunas were nice. The waiting lounges are unisex, but nice. It’s expensive, but you get your money worth.

I had the Alpenglow spa treatment with Sheri and wow! Not only was she the best therapist I’ve ever had but the multi step treatment was perfect for winter worn skin. This was followed by an amazing massage. She hit ever knot in my back and really helped align my spine after a 7 mile hike. The male/ female grotto areas (sauna, hot pool, cool pool, steam) was a nice touch as is the waiting area for your service. The staff was super friendly as well.

Nice locker room. Plenty of amenities. Helpful staff. Loved the co-ed grotto. We both had an excellent massage followed by a 20 minute copper tub soak. The pre-treatment waiting room was great with a fireplace, Fruit, tea , a TV(headphones only) and comfortable sitting. They were unisex. Overall a great experience!

This spa continues to be my absolute favorite and a big reason of why we continue to return to the hotel. They could use more staff but the woman who was there was very friendly and helpful.

This was the first time that my husband and I visited a spa together. It was a hit! We thoroughly enjoyed our couples' massage. It was so relaxing and both of us had a great masseuse. The facilities were top-notch and the staff extremely friendly. In fact, my husband was feeling a little under the weather, so the male locker room attendant, Jose, put together a bag of tea and honey for him to take back to the room. This was so thoughtful!! Just wish we had more time to hang out in the co-Ed grotto after our treatments. Unfortunately, we were there for a conference and had to get back to the meetings. This experience was so great that we plan to schedule couples' treatments in the future.
The only suggestion that I would make is that light snacks should be provided in the lounge areas.

First thing you realize about the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is that it's a private gated community. It is completely separated from the Beaver Creek village, and is located up a windy picturesque road on the top of a mountainside. We went through 3 different gates in order to get to the hotel, so it is very very exclusive.
I personally am not a huge fan of ultra luxury, as is the Ritz Carlton, however my husband bought me a massage at the Spa, so I gladly accepted. The spa facilities and the service were unreal. You are welcomed to the spa, offered some water and are led to a spacious locker room where your locker has a personalized greeting card for your with your specific treatment and a soft robe along with your size slippers.
You are then escorted to a waiting lounge with plush chairs, infused water and hot tea along with some fruit and snacks. There are magazines available and the air smells of flowers and spices. While you wait, you are offered a warm neck pillow that is scented with lavender - everything to get you in a relaxing mood and a peaceful mindset.
My massage was good - you have an option to chose your massage oil scent and lemongrass was to die for. At the end of the service, you are offered more water and some fruit (although the fruit was just laughable - I was given a tiny while bowl with 1 blackberry, 1 raspberry and 2 other berries for a grand total of 4!!!) and are led back to the lounge.
From there, you are welcome to use the rest of the spa facilities. The hot sauna in incredible and beautifully designed. There are moistened face towels with cup up cucumbers that you can place on your face as you relax and sweat out the toxins. The wet steam sauna was infused with eucalyptus oil, making it a refreshing and deeply cleansing experience. Right there next to the saunas are hot and cold pools to cool off, perfect after you're overheating after the saunas.
The locker room has everything for you to get ready - lotion, female products, hair gels and hair spray, even hair ties are offered for your convenience.
So...my verdict - it's awesome!!! However, this luxury comes at a price of $125 for a 30 minute massage, which is about 2 to 4 times more than what you can get in Denver. However, I would absolutely return to this serene heaven for a special occasion, because if you really want to treat yourself, this is the place!!!

Employees were very welcoming; spa was immaculate. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The Grotto Pool was a great place to soak and then kick back on their lounge chairs in the dimly lit area for a quick nap.

I have always had great service at this spa. This time I had the hydro wrap and scrub with Shea butter. I then followed that with a 90 minute massage. I have recently had shoulder surgery and she really helped limber my shoulder and worked my sore calves. Quiet room is very relaxing. Be sure to allow room between treatments to just relax. Get there early to enjoy the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge. And remember the Grotto. I have never seen a nicer one. Coed but most of the time you are the only one in there.

I always get facial and some other service. My facialist? Had just broken up with her boyfriend. She was sad. Which made me sad. Not relaxing. But the spa and services were reasonable. Good sale going on. Good product line. Wondefurful grotto hot spa tube for couples or singles.
