I purchased three ski rental packages and needed to ask a few questions about the packages. I called three days in a row and was went to voicemail each time (I called between 10-15 times across the three days.) Companies who cannot answer their phones or return calls withing a 48 hour window are not the type of companies I want to give my business to. I will find a better place for rentals in the future.

Everything was painfully slow. We arrived 3:30pm for our pickup and finished after 5pm. We waited a long time just to have our reservation paper pulled. We then waited in a line up the stairs for a bench. We waited once we got a bench to be fitted for boots with staff not serving people in the order they arrived. We then waited for over 30 minutes to get our skis because only one, sometimes two, staff were helping people over the time period we were waiting. Poles and checkout were fast, though.

The worst part was we picked your location because you were convenient for ski storage, but your staff told us not to store with you because there are up to 30 minute lines just before ski school to get skis out of storage. So my wife and I hauled four sets of skis and gear back and forth on the shuttle to our hotel every day. Terrible experience.

In Beaver Creek for one day (Jan. 2016) and was looking for a quick in-out convenient ski rental for the day. I am an experienced skier and have been renting skis in Colorado for thirty years. I mistakenly decided to forgo my normal ski rental place in lieu of the illusion of convenience. Found RentSki.com on the Beaver Creek website. They offer ski rentals at different locations throughout Beaver Creek and advertise that your skis will be ready for pickup at your chosen location. Being familiar with Beaver Creek, I chose the Beaver Creek Sports Rental location. Pre-paid an exorbitant $70.00 for one day of ski rental with Demo skis. Rentskis.com "Gold" is a premium service due it's location a little closer to the lifts. I opted not to pay the added "Gold" fee and walk a few steps further.

Entered Beaver Creek Sports at 8:30AM expecting to be on the ski lifts by 9AM. What I encountered was a frustrating hour and ten minute wait with no semblance of order inside the store. The poor woman behind me had three kids. They contracted with RentSki.com to have their skis delivered to their condo. No skis arrived and when they called, they were told they had to come to the store as no delivery was available.

When it was finally my turn to get my skis (after and hour of standing in the "Express Line") the employee asked how I was doing. I calmly replied not well, as I just lost over an hour of prime ski time waiting in the so-called Express Line. He laughed and said, well, that's what happens when the manager only schedules two people on a Friday. He retrieves the skis with my reservation and they were completely the wrong size than what I had specifically pre-ordered on-line. When I told him those skis were not the right size he proceeded to lecture me about how they determine ski length. Holy Moly - I've been skiing since before he was born. Since they had self determined that I should be in juvenile skis, they could not correct the order without much ado. I was told to just ski with them and come back later when they were less busy. Ouch.

To top it off - I had to go to another line to "check-out" even though I had pre-paid on-line. When I got to the register, the checkout girl told me there was a one cent discrepancy between the on-line cost and the actual cost and they would bill my credit card for one penny. That is what prompted this novel - I got my credit card bill today, and sure enough, there is a one cent charge.

No, I do not recommend this operation.

Been renting here for over 10 years. Never again! Just wanted to store my wife's boots in here boot rental slot. Didn't ask tech to "stop what he was doing" and he copped a major attitude and said "I ain't storing your shopping bags". I explained that they were her boots, had photos of their boot numbers but he told me to puns snow and rent a locker. Fine with me but lose the tude or lose me. Sure Foot next time, I guess.
