The brewery tour is exactly what you expect, a tour of the brewery. This is fascinating in itself but is taken to another level by the tour guide. What a fun guy. Thoroughly enjoyed by all of our group and plenty of free tasting at the end. Do it.

The Boulder Brewery Tour starts daily at 2:00 PM. Upon arrival at about 1:30, we were met by the guide "Ted" would ushered us into the pub (serves a variety of food) and suggested we buy a beer if we wanted to sip it as we took the tour. He pointed out which 9 beers were going to be tasted for free after the tour. We opted for a round of the ones not on the post tour taste list.
Promptly at 2:00 PM, Ted, with a dark beer in hand, marched the group into the first of several rooms of the brewing process. He was informative, funny, and insightful. After an entertaining 40 minute tour, he brought us into a tasting room with a set of small (four ounce?) glasses, and 9 half pitchers of beer for our group of about 10 adults. From then on, it was ask questions, pour your own, and get to know your fellow tour takers. All in all, we tasted al we wanted, met new people, and learned about the different beers made by Boulder Brewing. All free, except for the ones we bought to carry during the tour. A good afternoon.
