A lib professor bullying students saying how disappointed and hurt "they" would be if "they" found out any of their students were at Charlie Kirk today. Drink the kool-aid or you won't pass the class.

Cu boulder looked like a university for partying. I was looking for a high-level academic and prestige education so the first thing I did was talk to students and professors.
Unfortunately, I was not satisfied; in these large public universities you are just a number.
In the end I chose the University of Denver, which surprised me with the quality of the students "perhaps more of an elite" (Du is more expensive as well) and the availability of services. Less partying and more studying.

I took my kids here to see the campus. It’s a real nice one. Things are mostly together and the campus is pretty beautiful with the mountains behind it. Nice book store.

This is a REALLY nice campus. Amazing diversity of trees on well-kept grounds. Food & drink nearby. Organized. Clean.

Rode around campus during a bike tour. Though we didn’t go inside at all, the campus was interesting and beautiful. I’m glad we had someone giving us a lot of the fun facts as we rode around!

Interested in a beautiful walk? Here's a spot. Beautiful campus, gorgeous buildings, pond with bridge and many turtles sunning themselves.

An an old Boulder rat, it is so great to park the car and walk the campus to the early times I lived here. The Packer Grill is intact and the building are ageless. Had to move on to make a living but this is still my go-to place for reflection of life as it was and as it is.

It is a pleasure visiting all the different Universities and seeing how special each one is. Well, the University of Colorado has many things that make it special. It has history, beautiful architecture, terrific sports and offers a top notch education. CU opened its doors on Sept 5th, 1876. The "Old Main" was the first building built. Mary Rippon was one of the first professors hired at CU, she was among the first women in the nation to teach at a state university. Charles Klauder created a unique architectural style for the campus using native stone. CU has won the team National Championship in skiing 20 times between 1959 and 2015. CU is well known for the Engineering Center that houses the nation's largest geotechnical centrifuge.

My daughter just graduated, and so far I've visited at least 12 times over the last four years; I live in Southern California. Regarding hotels/motels, we are "sunners" so in the Spring and Summer it's important to have an outdoor pool - they are rare in Boulder. Our two favorite choices were Homewood Suites or Best Western Boulder Plus. These are both VERY NICE "motels" (you park yourself) --- Homewood is about a 8-10 minute drive West to the main campus and Pearl Street, Best Western about 4-6 minutes. Both of these are S/E of the campus and ideal if your student is in the Williams Village or Tower dorms. The other outdoor pool choice is The Millinium, which is THEE VERY BEST location for school activities, especially the football stadium (walking distance - a huge plus!) BUT, the Millinium has seen better days, unfortunately it's pretty run down, but clean --- we just stayed there in May for graduation, for the pool/location factors. The St. Julien is the upscale snooty one for all of the rich or want-to-look rich folks (no outdoor pool.) It's very nice, VERY nice and VERY upscale, but to me it's just like any other Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, when I found that the smaller motels lent so much more appeal nestled against the Flatirons. Plus, the rooms @ the St. Julien are tiny and way overpriced. The Marriott (no outdoor pool & make sure you get the one next to IHOP) is a REALLY good location for restaurants and lots of stores, large and small. We were booked in Broomfield @ The Omni (a 20 minute drive to Boulder) for graduation but got bumped up on the waiting list and ended up staying @ The Millinium - which turned out just fine. Good luck, I envy you just starting out ... we absolutely LOVE Boulder !!!
