我和家人在丹佛拜访朋友时，漫步到了州议会大厦。我个人比较喜欢建筑，国会大厦真的美极了！
从上面可以清楚地俯瞰商业区和西边的群山。一英里高的标志物建筑使得这里成为一个受欢迎的旅游观光地。
在参观之前一定要看看这里有没有各类活动；我们去的时候有一个美食节，如果我们早知道有这个的话，就不会在过去之前午饭吃这么饱了！这里是个散步的好地方，风景很好。

我们一直打算在州议会大厦快速游览一番，但决定在一个下午外避开炎热天气，加入了导游团，延长了我们的行程。我们对我们的选择非常满意，导游非常棒，讨论了一系列与国会大厦、科罗拉多和丹佛周围的政治和历史有关的话题。她为旅游团提供的信息中包含了真正的人文元素，使故事栩栩如生。我很高兴有机会爬到屋顶上，这样我们就可以欣赏到城市上空的阳光美景，这是我们在这座建筑的自助游中无法享受到的，所以这是值得的。

我真的很享受这次免费的首都建筑之旅！我9岁的孩子很烦人，但当我们爬到山顶，看到令人惊叹的景色时，一切都是值得的！到那里大约有90级台阶，而且没有电梯，但我觉得不太费力。在爬山之前还有一个小博物馆，我们觉得很有趣。我强烈推荐这次旅行！

如果我去一个州的首府，我总是喜欢去那里的国会大厦。丹佛这座金碧辉煌的圆顶国会大厦没有让人失望。此外，这里的环境也很适合散步、慢跑。这里还有大炮和雕像，很好看。

There are public lots all around the capitol. Most are reasonably priced. If you're staying at one of the downtown hotels I would recommend catching the 16th Street Bus.

no booking tour ahead of time they are like on the hour great tour you can walk it yourself too BUT when you take the tour you get to go up to the top and it's worth it great view and the steps are not as bad as they say they are about 90 but easy I did it better then I thought I could; parking is all over but we found the best place for $8 for the whole day that was close to the Denver Mint then we just spent the whole day walking around and enjoying all the sites

IF you take the tour the DOME is included but IF you have bad knees I would not advise about 90 steps YOU can always try it and stop to rest or turn around and go back down PLUS you can still walk the entire Capital with out the tour you can take the tour just for the info the guide gives you as well
