Not sure I would want to swim in that water, lots of goose poop. Parking is everywhere and even on the streets.

yes for a normal size--if you want a large party (I think the magic number is 35 plus) you need a permit

Hi there! So from what I know, no...! I don’t believe you need to reserve it ahead of time however, it depends on how large this event is and/or which part of the park you are interested in having your celebration at. For instance, the Washington Park boathouse/pretty building on the lake (?) is something you most likely need to rent. But if you mean those picnic tables by the botanic garden side with the children’s playground ( more on the Downing Street side) then no, I really don’t think you need to. I would just show up early to plant your stake...! Also, I’ve seen some fabulous parties held there with loud music and everything so it could be quite an amazing time! Enjoy and hope it works out for you : ) Try scoping the Denver Parks and Recreation site ( I’m sure you’ve already looked at this but just in case).

Yes, there are bikes for rent on the north side of the lake. You can even rent paddle boats.

Wash Park has 2 lakes to walk around and lots of ducks and geese and is in better neighborhood than city park. Paddleboats on north lake. No swimming water not clean. Yes Water World is a different place and a great waterpark

You are correct and I was referring to the small paddle boats. I love Wash Park and live not far on Lincoln. I often walk the park as its a great place to get some exercise.
