I couldn't figure out the name of the playground itself, so this review is for the main playground and not for City Park itself (which we did really enjoy).
a. There seem to be multiple playgrounds in City Park in Denver, but I think this one MAY be the largest it has. It is located near the duck pond and a very short walk to the pavillion. There is a pretty good amount of street parking nearby. Seemed pretty safe to me.
b. The playground is huge and there are A LOT of options for kids to do. There are slides, climbing structures, a merry-go-round looking thing, this bumpy path thing that my son really enjoyed, and even a swing for a wheelchair (never seen that before).
c. The only thing was that there were A LOT of kids there. It was a challenge to find a table and to not feel space invaded. There were even a couple of kids there that weren’t quite kind to my son and his mother didn’t notice or seem bothered by it. It killed some of the fun of the outing.
d. Well made park with lots to do. Busy though so expect that if you go (we went around 10-something). And yeah, and in early July it was HOT. There is some shade by the tables, but if I recall, not on/around the play structures. Plan for that.

Giant park. We drove around and wanted to walk in a park but it is so large. Nice space in Denver. Good to have these open areas in a city.

I was here for a wedding in October, really nice location as far as parks go. Fun park all-around. I do wish the driving/parking situation was a bit better, but that's just nit-picking at this point.

This is probably the best place to see an incredible view of the city of Denver skyline, absolutely stunning views and a lovely place to take a walk:)!

Great view of downtown Denver from the steps of the Nature & Science Museum. Easy parking next to the museum for free. The museum also has a large dinosaur next to it. We did not go inside the museum, but it looked very nice.
It was fun to see the kids running in the water jets at the base of the museum steps facing downtown. There were a couple of persons blowing huge bubbles next to the museum. A fun place.

So we visited this park a few times because the Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is located right in the middle of the park. To be honest this park is gigantic and there is a lot of things to see. Yet, our favorite thing that we enjoyed seeing at the park had to be the lake. It was such an awesome view from the museum to see there gigantic lake. Yet, the only thing I would say is be careful driving there. This park is really big and you can get lost!

Where are we supposed to park? No one knows. No one has information. The website is useless. There are no signages for car park. We wished to visit but after the confusion with car park, we decided not to visit at all.

Waste of time visiting this park, as there is zero drive in access and you must park a block or two away. Not a problem if it was me and my dog, but not with grandkids and family in tow. No signage indicating when or why parking is closed, nothing on any website i could find. I guess it's not really worth anything except to those who live nearby or within walking distance. I don't suspect they have such a large taxpayer funded park with the only planned parking in nearby neighborhoods that visitors know nothing about.

Good answer. I'd just add that the museum and zoo both have ample parking (and flank the park on two sides). Those parking lots can be crowded on weekends and during special events. Even when busy, though, both have underground parking that some folks don't seem to know about, so unless there are "lot full" signs posted, it's easy to park there and take a short walk to the park. If picnicking and/or have a car full of kids or folks that have difficulty walking, I'd recommend that you drive into the park and drop off passengers/gear near where you want to picnic, then have the driver park the car. It's a BIG park! (Takes me at least an hour to walk briskly around its 3-mile perimeter (outside the zoo and museum.)
Can someone get married in October of this year and how would someone go about it?

I am almost positive you can. You have to go through the city to reserve your day if it is available though. There is a certain time of year when brides line up around a block downtown to request to have their wedding at a Denver Park. I know my sister in law had to wait in line over night to get her wedding date at City Park at the end of August. Good Luck!
