The distillery tour was very informative and fun! I work at a distillery on the east coast and Travis did a great job on the tour and tastings. He explained the process very well and the distillery was very clean. After the tour be sure to visit the cocktail bar, the brownie infused bottle they use for the espresso Martin left us wishing we could take it home. The barrel proof old fashioned was spot on too!

Great experience. Our tour guide was Max. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Ryan took care of us in the lounge and added fun to a already great experience.

Travis was leading the Top Shelf tour for the first time and if he hadn’t said anything, we would’ve had no idea. He was incredible and his depth of not only Stranahan whiskey but whiskey knowledge in general was highly impressive. He was able to answer the groups many varied questions and made it a very fun and enjoyable experience for all. Stranahan’s Top Shelf tour was a Friday night well spent!

I've been to multiple distilleries but this was my partners first time! We didn't make a reservation but were accommodated as walk-ins since the tour wasn't full. We're from Texas, so it was really cool to learn how the temperature and elevation affect the process. 4 tastings were offered during the tour and we got to keep our taster glasses! After some additional flights at the bar (available for purchase!) We walked away with 2 bottles to add to our collection!

Great experience. Amy was a phenomenal tour guide. It was interesting to hear how much goes into each bottle and how much passion and care go into the process. We loved seeing that each bottle is hand bottled and labeled by a person and not a machine.

I LOVE doing their distillery tour, it is a an incredible experience, very personal, and you get the experience of actually knowing their whiskey and understanding whiskey by the end of that incredibly packed hour. I have been on at least 150 different brewery and distillery tours, and this is the most comprehensive and immersive. I will say I'm biased since I live 10 minutes away, but it is truly a gift.

Great experience! Michael was an incredible guide, very patient with my many questions and very informative. Getting to taste Varieties that are not available for purchase was an unexpected bonus!

Definitely make this a stop on your list if you like Single malt or are looking to try a great single malt. You will be surprised by the amazing finished single malts they also have available. If you have the opportunity to tour, definitely do it but at least stop by and grab a flight or cocktail in their bar.

The event was so much fun and had a lot of great information about their whiskey, the history of American whiskey and the samples plus cocktails we made were quite delicious. The staff was also top-notch!

We took an Uber from the LoDo district of downtown to the distillery. Was a quick drive and not too pricey.
Would definitely recommend not driving.

We ate at smokin yards bbq then walked down to the distillery. It was a 5 minute walk it's a straight shot. Not sure about alone at night but daytime no worries. BBQ was really good.

We're planning a family trip(including kids). Do I need to plan to leave the minors w/a friend so I can bring my Husband or can the (well behaved) minors tour too?

I would concur with Eli B as far as in the end its the organization's call, but there is a section/lounge that you'll see when you walk in that I did see children in as there were games for them to play (tabletop shuffleboard, board games, simple things), but they were under supervision. Would depend on how old the minors are. 16-17 is probably more reasonable 8-10 is probably too young to leave in their unattended. May be easier (and more fun for them) if you have an alternate activity for them while you enjoy the tour.

Tours are free but you should make an appointment online to be sure you have a spot as the number of people on each tour is pretty small.
