The weather was a bit rough so Captain Joe gave me a call the night before and suggested that we go out two hours late. When we were heading out the talk on the radio from other boats sounded bad. Either a few fish or no fish in several hours. We put 3 in the cooler in about 15 minutes! We kept grinding through the day and ended up with 32 beautiful walleye, a few perch and several white bass. We were the best on the lake when other boats struggled. My kids and the grandparents had a great day. Got a freezer full of walleye. Look forward to hopefully making this an annual trip with Captain Joe aboard the Fish On. I’ve fished in many states and several foreign countries and this trip was top notch.

First hour fishing we we’re half way to the limit. Captain Joe knew where to go to find decent size Walleye. We had a great morning on the water.

Went out yesterday with Capt Joe, and had a great afternoon of fishing. Caught our limit of walleyes in about 1.5 hours. One of those days to remember.

Captain Joe had us on fish immediately and we had a six man limit in 3 hours. Super friendly and knowledgable. He took time to help my senior parents and also answered all of my kids questions while hustling around the deck keeping us reeling in fish.

Have been on multiple walleye charters. I have now found the BEST one. Captain Joe put us on fish quickly and we limited out in less than 2 hours. As a life long fisherman, I know it does not always happen like that, but I am extremely confident that Captain Joe would be able to put us on fish no matter what the conditions.

Great day of fishing with Captain Joe. Slow start due to over night storms. Joe was able to put us right on the walleye.
Very pleasant trip. Can not wait until our perch trip scheduled in August.

Best walleye charter captain ever. Very helpful and beyond knowledgeable terrific time with lots of laughs. Captain Joe finds the fish we will not fish with anyone else. Fantastic rates and worth every penny. Will be looking forward to the next trip.

Two trips out two limits of walleye. Captain Joe never fails to deliver a great time on the water and dials in quickly where the fish are. Whether a novice or experienced Captain Joe will impart knowledge of best methods to catch fish. If you’re heading for the best fishing on Lake Erie out of Port Clinton Ohio contact Fish On Charters and book early as his calendar fills up fast.

I have been fishing with Captain Joe Snyder on Lake Erie for Walleyes for a few years now. I have been fishing for Walleyes on the Lake every year going on 36 years. I have fished with many captain’s over the years. Some I liked, some I didn’t and even a few that are friends. Joe has them all beat hands down. My friends who are captains on the Lake still ask every year if I would consider taking a trip with them instead. I just smile and politely decline because a lot of days my I'm catching a limit with Joe when these other guys are only catching half or three quarter of their limits. On a good day anyone can catch fish, but it’s on those days that the fish aren’t cooperating that a full-time guide like Joe works the phones to find a school of active fish. Joe works hard to make sure he is making the proper presentation and the proper depths to catch fish. I take multiple groups up with Joe every year and the only complaint I have ever had was one of my friends couldn’t believe we caught our limit so fast. I book my dates a year in advance to ensure my friends and I are not shut out. Give Joe a try if you can catch an open date you won’t regret it.

Capt Joe did a great job putting us on fish on a tough weather day. After we spent some time jigging for walleye, we finished out our limit while trolling, and from the looks of the lake we were one of the few boats that were able to do that. The only way this happens is by either complete luck or having a captain who spends a lot of time on the lake and knows what to do when the conditions are tough. Would HIGHLY recommend.
