Our bachelorette crew had the absolute best time zip lining today! TJ and Spencer made the experience so much fun and we’re very informative! We would 100% recommend going here!

Garrett and the other guides Monday morning were fantastic! The team made sure we were dressed appropriately for the weather and how wet we would get. The safety meetings were informative and fun. Once on the river Garrett did all the work and we got to enjoy some beautiful scenery and the boys (13&17) had a blast on the class II and III rapids. We will definitely come back and try class IV! Our guides and the team really made this a great experience for us!
TJ and Kira were equally as fun and skilled when it came to zip lining. We were the last group of the day but you’d have thought we were the first. Their enthusiasm for us being there was so much fun for the boys and I. It was the perfect ending to a great day with AVA in Buena Vista!

Oh my goodness!!! We had the best time today on the Arkansas river and Shawn was an amazing guide. He was so kind and patient with our family (2 adults, a 16 year old and 2 -14 year olds). It was a terrifying (totally out of our comfort zone, plus we are all very inexperienced) yet totally exhilarating experience. I felt very safe and secure with Shawn in command, which is a lot for a mother who had her children racing down the river…and did not have the ability to protect them if something did happen. He was very clear in his instructions and gave gentle suggestions when necessary. He prepared us for what was coming up and educated us what do do if we did fall in. He was hilarious and kept us laughing the whole time we were on the river. We all had an amazing time…definitely a highlight of our Colorado trip. This is our 2nd experience with AVA in 4 years and would highly recommend the company for all your white water rafting needs. Thank you for a fabulous experience!!!

It was a blast! Our guide, Palmer was the best! We took the half day float. Everyone was helpful and very friendly. We will use this company again. We are staying in Breckinridge, it’s about a one hour drive. The scenery is beautiful. :-)

We were looking for another activity after a great day of rafting with another company and stumbled upon the Via Ferrata experience at Ava. Seriously, so amazing! My husband, 2 teen boys and me enjoyed the trip far more than anyone expected and would absolutely do it again! We got to do 4 zip lines and several transverse with a 100 foot drop. I’m generally afraid of heights, but felt like a bad*** when done. I will be looking for more Via Ferratas when we travel on future trips. Take your Go Pro. I didn’t and definitely wish I had more pictures!

We had a great experience with staff and guides from AVA. Cade was an excellent guide informative and entertaining on the Browns Canyon rafting trip fun class 3. We spent the afternoon with Brock and Derek ziplining these guys made the afternoon fun and so easy. We stayed in the Missouri cabin right on site for convenience. Great fajita lunch onsite.

Ava Rafting tours were excellent. Joey our tour guide was awesome, it was his first time guiding the tour and he handled it like a pro. We had so much fun, it was amazing. Also, River the team leader was very hospitable and gave some great tips. Make sure to visit these amazing people. Two 👍 👍 up . Cheers.

What an exhilarating experience! Our guide Whitten, aka Spicey, was awesome. He had us well prepared for each rapid and he clearly was well trained. Fantastic afternoon on the Arkansas River rafting through Brown Canyon.

Fantastic rafting experience for our family of 4. With our twin teenage daughters at the front of the raft, our terrific guide Randy prepped us perfectly for a thrilling ride down the Numbers rapids section of the Arkansas River. We were ready for a second run with Randy at the end. Could not have been happier with the experience through AVA.
