"We booked a 4 days Ujung Kulon tour with one night at the jungle camp with Peucang Island Ecoresort. I must say that Ceng is probably the best guide for Ujung Kulon as he has been born and bought up there and know the jungles very well. He is truly a jungle boy !! He has an excellent knowledge about Ujung Kulon and he knows how takes care of his guests. He along with his boat crew made us very comfortable through the trip. He kept us occupied all the time with different interesting activities. I would definitely recommend him if you have plan of visiting Ujung Kulon !!" also he spoke very good English.

"I had the BEST time on this tour! It was a three day packed with awesome activities. Our guide Edi was so incredible! He was very knowledgeable and made all the day so much fun with his boat crew. The trip as like canoeing, snorkeling and hike to the jungle was definitely challenging and also nice room. Although a challenge, the views make it so worth it!! Natural environment such as this, really deserves the title UNESCO World Heritage. The fact that there's nearly nothing other than snow-like white sand, light green - turquoise - light blue - dark blue beach like a fairy's skirt spread on the beach, Peucang Island stays true to nature. Across the island through the jungle ending at opposite side of the island is "Karang Copong" seashore. A narrow - sometimes - vanishing path leads the way. There are no guideposts and the ranger can leave one to wonder, how on earth could he know the way. Middle-class adventure lovers would love this.
At Karang Copong you can wait for the sun to set on a rocky beach. Reflections and glitters of sundown would be something you won't find on just any beach. This could be one of a nature-photographer's dream spot.
On the other hand, management on this island is far from international standards. The ranger, tour guides, operators, still lacks passion and professionalism. Accommodations can stay basic and yet highly-managed. Be prepared when you visit during dry season. In my personal opinion, Peucang Island is not yet ready to welcome foreign visitors.
Nonetheless, thanks to raw service, Peucang Island's purity stays preserved.

Jolie plage juste au niveau de l’embarcadère, mais jonchée de détritus dès qu'on fait quelques mètres. Les bungalows du "lodge" qui donnent sur la plage ont l'air chouette, mais les chambres dans le bâtiment derrière sont dans un état lamentable. Beaucoup de vent dans la zone, donc nuages et mer agitée.

We just arrive for amazing a nice holiday at Ujung Kulon, spend 3 days to explorer this area was not enough..why..so beautiful.. jungle...wildlife..snorkeling..trekking..wildlife

Buat kmu yang suka menjelajah alam. .D pulau pecang adalah tempat menjelajah alam yang sangat tepat, karna d sini kmu bakal melihat hutan yang sangat asri dan hewan2 liar yang dilindungi, selain keindahan alam nya yang asri kmu juga dapat lihat taman laut yang sangat menakjubkan,Kmu juga dapat bermain kano untuk mempererat pertemanan dan kekompakan😊, untuk yang mau berpetualang k alam liar, aku rekomendasiin k pulau pecang deh ❤,

I joined local trip with local guide to spend my weekend here. I really enjoyed the with sand, tosca sea, and blue sky. Heaven, I would say. I mean, not to exaggerate it, after spending robotic life working in Jakarta, this is the best choice to spend your weekend, enjoying quite, not-crowded island, snorkeling, and sun-bathing. Even though the facilities (toilet, room, and other accommodation) were not really great, not to mention the group of monkeys which can steal your things at any time, my time spent there was really worth it. This trip is great for adults. I don't think children can survive here.

Pulau Peucang adalah salah satu pulau didalam kawasan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon , Pulau besar Lainnya yaitu Panaitan, Handeleum, dan Tinjil.
Perjalanan menuju Pulau Peucang dari Jakarta ditempuh sekitar 7-8 jam ke Dermaga Sumur. Perjalanan dilanjutkan menggunakan kapal motor Tradisional dari Dermaga Sumur ke Pulau Peucang sekitar 3 Jam, namun hal tersebut tergantung kondisi cuaca dan ombak.
Kebetulan perjalanan kemarin saat kondisi ombak cukup besar dan perahu berjalan melawan ombak. Terkadang posisi ombak lebih tinggi dari kapal, dan sesekali Nahkoda harus mematikan mesin kapal, untuk mengurangi efek benturan dengan ombak.
Setelah menempuh perjalanan sekitar 3,5 jam dan kondisi baju basah kuyup, setengah mabuk laut tibalah Di Pulau Peucang.
Pulau tersebut dibawah otoritas TNUK, sehingga setiap yg berkunjung harus registrasi terlebih dahulu.
Di Pulau Peucang terdapat Fasilitas penginapan dengan berbagai tipe, mulai dari Barak s.d Bungalow.
Untuk paket open trip fasilitas yg disediakan Barak dengan kapasitas 5-6 orang. Namun jika mau upgrade ke Bungalow (+) Rp. 500-Rp.700 K/ mlm.
Capek dan kondisi mabuk laut hilang seketika saat sampai di Pulau ini, dan yang paling penting adalah ditempat ini tidak ada sinyal, kita dapat benar-benar istirahat dan fokus liburan.
Aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan diantara snorkling (banyak spot bagus dan alami), tracking ke Padang penggembalaan Cianjur, menikmati sunrise/ sunset, tracking ke Hutan dibelakang Penginapan, tradisional Canoeing di Sungai Cigenter dan jika beruntung kita dapat menikmati bintang jatuh (milkyway).

Tidak banyak orang yang mengetahui keindahan alam dari Pulau Peucang. Tempatnya sangat bagus, airnya masih sangat jernih dan biru, serta pasirnya putih. Saya tidak akan menolak jika diajak ke sini lagi~~

Saya dan teman2 mampir kesini untuk main pantai dan lihat2, menginapnya di taman ujung kulon nya. Masih banyak hewan keliaran di pulau seperti monyet, babi hutan, biawak, dll disini. Bisa berenang di pantai sini banyak ikan kecil-kecil nya.

It's a beautiful island! Me and my friends(we are 3) want to visit peucang island while backpacking trought java. But we have no idea how to get a room overthere, I've only seen a resort but it's pretty expensive. Do anyone have a clue how to manage this getting a cheap room?
