The new parking area is nicely done but should include a bathroom of some kind. The boardwalk is remarkably well maintained. They should consider including a secure donation bin.

Amazing hike which was suggested by the hotel we stayed at! We thoroughly enjoyed all the trails offered and returned each day during our stay down the street at The Litchfield Inn.

We were taken aback by the number of Bear Beware signs and stopped a woman who works here. Her response to our question about bears was a bit insulted. Acted as if we were stupid for not knowing how to respond, unfriendly.

Spent close to 2 hours here in late August while on a trip.
Did 2 trails:
Little Pond Boardwalk - lots of boardwalk, one of the longest set of boardwalks have walked on in US, pretty good scenery, highly recommend this trail
Pond Trail - near visitor center, pretty quick around a pond, not too scenic
Have alot more trails
No cost for trails

Check out their calendar for workshops, special events and more. There are several options for outside enjoyment - from hiking, biking, dog walking to horse back riding and canoeing. Trails are clean and neat. Bring bug spray.

If it is a nice day it can older get nicer if you walk the wooden planks of White Memorial Conservation Center.
Beauty abounds! When we are in town we always go for a few hour walk on their property, over the river and through the woods!

No, only if there is a special attraction or venue going on or as stated, the museum, which is very interesting. It isn't expensive, can't remember the exact amount, but will not break the bank. Just the walk is delightful and worth the visit. I would suggest some sort of bug spray, natural or otherwise during late afternoon.
