My teenage daughter (14) was skeptical about this place but as soon as we got there she asked me to go with her and her brother (11) up into the course which is strangely located at the back of a huge furniture store. What a blast for all of us! My mother-in-law watched from the open seating area by the fountain while the three of passed two hours climbing and zip lining. The lockers were free but it took us a minute find one that wasn’t broken. The overall ambience on a Friday night was animated and everyone around us was having a great time. There was a traffic jam on a zip line at one point which cost us 20 minutes of our time waiting but it was fixed by the staff relatively quickly. And the staff was efficient and helpful at every turn, from signing in - I recommend getting tickets and waivers online - to harnessing and getting down. My kids did the big free fall drop to come down and said it was totally worth it.

The kids had a blast. 1 hour was enough for my children as they tire easily with noise and crowds. We paid extra for the free fall as the end which they loved. It was during a school break week and very crowded which would be my only critique. Otherwise was a great experience and would return, just would try to go during a less peak time. There are vending machines and tables with chairs for parents to sit. There is a mall and restaurants nearby if you want to get a meal before or after. We went to Chili’s in Milford on our way home. There is also a Chili’s in East Haven if you’re headed in the other direction.

We took the kids here on a rainy day while visiting family from out of town. The place is huge. But what’s great about it is that the ropes course is made up of many levels, so the kids could stay as long as they wanted on the lower ones until they felt comfortable moving higher. My 11 yo is afraid of heights, and she still made it to the top because she grew to trust her harness the longer they were up. There’s also a ground-level course for littles that our 5 yo had a blast on.

Great course of ropes and zip wires! Best ever highly enjoyed! Only negative was that cafe not open so for not participating adults suggest bringing a hot drink if planning to stay while children are playing:)

This is a COVID factory in the making. Indeed, this place should not be permitted to remain open. The staff neither follows nor enforces the requirement that staff and customers wear masks. Staff members repeatedly removed their own face coverings and refused to instruct customers on the adventure course to put their masks on, despite my kids and I repeatedly begging them to do so. We seemed to be the only people at the facility who were actually consistently and properly wearing masks, and the other customers and staff were acting as if we weren’t in the middle of a global pandemic. Each and every time I asked a staff member, including the assistant manager on duty, to please tell the customers who were on the course with my kids to please put their masks on, they said there was nothing they could do and basically acted like we were crazy and in the wrong for expecting people to wear masks (despite the fact that the rules of the facility expressly state that masks are required, which is why we purchased a reservation in the first place). The staff could not have cared less, and they weren’t complying with the mask requirements either. We finally got so fed up with it that we gave up and left. If you’d like your adventure course with a side of COVID, this is the place for you! If you’d prefer not to put yourself at risk among some of the most callous and downright selfish group of customers and staff members around, stay far away from this COVID incubator!

We booked a birthday party there at least six weeks in advance for our 5 year old daughter and they completely screwed it up. We were told we had 90 minutes on the Little It rope course and they gave us 60 minutes. Then they messed up the pizza order and it was late. Then they informed us that they completely forgot to make our ice cream cake! Ok fine, we're reasonable, we asked that they just give the kids ice cream in cups. Well, that apparently took a call to some manager and the kids had to wait 30 minutes for dessert. Our hostess was apologetic but the kids were at the table for 90 minutes! Completely unacceptable considering we called the day before to confirm everything. And the best part is there's no manager, you have to haggle with some teenager. It's amateur hour.

Such a random thing to find! You have to walk through an entire furniture store to access this ropes course. Also in the “It” section are a musical water fountain, an ice scream shop and pizza place. My husband and I had a blast. We went before noon and only had to share the course with two other people. There are lots of levels and lots of choices on which obstacles you’d like to complete to get around. Multiple zip lines as well. We chose the line that took us directly over the fountain, so that was a cool view. It’s $25-30/pp, depending on whether you decide to free fall at the top. And it’s for an unlimited time. You can stay up as long as you want, but once you descend (by stair or by fall) you are not allowed back into the course. Free lockers are provided.

My ganddaughter is nine years old and she had a great time with the ropes course and zip lines. Talked about how much fun she had all the way home!
We spent almost two hours on a Saturday, with no wait to get tickets or to get belted/tethered up. On the course there were very few waits, as well. My granddaughter only got nervous once on one of the ropes courses, and choose not to go to Level 4 and take the big jump down, but she insisted that I do it. She really enjoyed the different zip lines you could take, especially the one that went over the water fountain and could get your feet wet from the jets.
We enjoyed the pizza, especially the choose your own ingredients part.
Overall, the staff were all great and we are already planning to go back, so she can try the rock wall climbing.

Huge ropes coarse, great time for the kids never see them and have to fight to leave every time even after two hours of them playing. Staff can be undesired attitude at times, but kids love it so kinda have to go back to keep little man happy.

I’d say a little over rated.. target range of approximately 10 years old. I went up with my boys just to see what it was about and was quickly over run by birthday parties.

Yes it is completely optional. When you go to purchase tickets, you have the opportunity to pay extra to do the jump. You are harnessed in very tight and a secure pulley system drops you. It stops of course before you touch the ground. There is a person working on the top and on the bottom for that one specifically.
The ropes course is so large that you could go one level and leave if it is too much or you can be up there two hours going up three levels and zip lining across multiple times. You can go and just observe the jump and if they are not into it then no need to pay for it.

Would love to bring my daughter and grandson there but would like to know if we, the grandparents, still gat charged a fee even though we won't be doing any of these activities. Also is there a place to sit and wait as they do the course.

You can watch from numerous places, plenty of places to sit and food available to purchase while you wait. You will not be charged for just sitting. Enjoy your time with your grandchildren. They will love it and you will love taking pictures of them being daredevils.

What is the average wait time to get on the ropes course on a Saturday or Sunday?

Wait times are dependent on weather conditions and school vacation periods. Mornings are best for little to no wait times. Afternoons can range from 1/2 hour to 1 hour and beyond if the weather is unfavorable outside. The staff try to inform customers at the counter before tickets are purchased, and if wait times are extremely long the company makes posts on Facebook.

It's not a linear course as much as it is a park. Like most parks, you can wander around 'til you've had your fill. I agree anything less than 45 minutes would be a waste of money and you wouldn't get to experience parts of it. On the high end, most people would be bored with anything over 2.5 hours. Call it an hour and a half, on average.

You will want sneakers and ideally ones that give some support due to the nature of the obstacles. There are a lot of things that wobble and twist so the support helps prevent any injuries.

Parents can watch; some were inside the course encouraging the younger kids. I would think two hours is enough. There is quite a bit of info on the website and I'm sure you could call and ask your questions.
