All I can say is that I wish I had found this place much much sooner.
We were invited for a special event here so there was a small reception held in the quaint lobby area prior to hitting the theater. Boldly and brightly decorated with sequins and lots of color, there was a card game/poker theme to it with available playing pieces. The staff could not have been more accommodating and inviting, simply a pleasure.
The theater itself has seating on three sides of a large stage and backdrop, almost a theater in the round. When I say that each and every seat is a winner I mean it— an ample incline allowed for the 5 to 6 rows deep to each have close and intimate views of the action. We had the pleasure viewing a comedy show featuring Linda Belt—fun and funny!! A gander at the upcoming attractions showed a wide range of offerings, to suit every taste.

We went to our first performance here and can't wait to return. The theatre is teeny so seating is VERY close to the performance. We saw a terrific production of Nunsense and stayed afterwards for a 15 minute question and answer session with the cast.

Saw “Scottsboro Boys” at this theater and we were extremely pleased with the performance. Audience sits around the production stage in an intimate setting. Acting, lighting, sound and music was superb. Seating was comfortable.

Saw a musical about the Scottsboro boys

We have been to several plays here and have always enjoyed them thoroughly. It's a small theater that once was the garage housing milk trucks for A.C. Peterson's. My husbands dad worked there as a mechanic. The first efforts at the theater did not go as planned however with this management and artistic directors, it's really been a hit! We've seen The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Around the World in 80 Days, Cabaret, Driving Miss Daisy, Tuesdays with Morrie, Chicago, Love Letters, etc. I believe they also have a comedy night and performances for young audiences. I'm sure you would be pleased attending one of their performances.

This charming little theater offers a great variety of theater experiences from well known Broadway favorites to original new works and even children’s programs. Tickets are reasonably priced. An overall great experience.

We have been here several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the plays and musicals. A great little theater with very professional actors.

We have been season ticket holders at Playhouse for a number of years. It never disappoints. I may not care for a play on occasion, but I have never been disappointed with the production quality - set design or direction. A great place to see a play.
