I recently moved to the area and friends of ours offered to visit this small community theatre in Milford. The venue is small but lends itself to an intimate stage experience. I attended a prodution of Faith County 2. The play was an amiable, gently fun evening that was under 2 hours including an intermission. The lobby serves drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, as well as snacks. The performance itself was entertaining with the actors in general giving energy and enthusiasm to the play. Stand-outs were the actors playing the characters of Faye, who has found herself recently single; Delbert ,the local stage handyman; and Violet, the besieged director. Lighting and scenary were simplistic, however, since the play is about an amateur theatre presentation it works for this production. Planning on attending the next production.

Never had a bad show. Sometimes under attended. About 120 out of 140 attended last night attended Hobbits children's show.. Generally sells out.

Our first time at the Riverfront Theater in Milford and the Second Street Players put on a wonderfull and very funny "SHREK" performance. Wow, what a fun experience. Hats off to Shrek, Donkey, Lord Farquaad and Fiona, a very memorable night. This a nice, enjoyable community theater and we will be back fro more performances, I understand a renovation is in store at the close of the 2018 year. I can hardly wait for the next show. Thank-you Second Street Players.

Riverfront Theater in downtown Milford is a wonderful community theater serving Milford and the surrounding area. The Second Street Players present quality performances of drama, comedy and musical. The theater is small so you have a good view of the stage regardless of where you sit. The sound and lighting is good quality. Ticket prices are reasonable. The theater serves limited light refreshments. I have always enjoyed attending a performance. The last performance I saw was "Nunsense: A-Men" which was hilarious. Milford is very fortunate to have this cultural venue.

Small, but well equipped theatre. We saw Robin Hood and couldn't say enough good things about it. The feature included more than 30 performers, a combination of kids and adults who voluntarily participated, practiced, and developed the rapport necessary to deliver a performance worthy of a standing ovation. Well done indeed!

We were looking forward to "A Christmas Carol", and expected it to be as good as "Fiddler On The Roof". We expected too much, because it couldn't compare. From the acting to the music "A Christmas Carol" was more like a high school play, where "Fiddler On The Roof" had wonderful, talented actors, singers, dancers and orchestra.
However, we do love Riverfront Theatre, and this won't stop us from returning.

We went to the Riverwalk theater last week and had a great time! They were playing the movie "Charlie Brown Thanksgiving". We had been to this theater before for a few shows, such as A Christmas Story. We have always enjoyed ourselves and this time was no exception. It was not very busy so we had our pick of seats. The sound/picture quality was good, as was the popcorn. A good time was had by all!

It is a great place to go to see a nice play that is close to home. They actually have something for everyone throughout the year.

Just saw "A Christmas Story" last weekend. Super small theater, but big on quality. I have seen a number of performances here over the years. Everyone from the actors, director, stage hands and ticket sales are volunteers, and they do an amazing job. Nestled in the heart of downtown Milford, Second Street Players is a must see if you're in the area and they have a performance that weekend (Fri & Sat nights and Sun matinees). They recently began showing second run movies on Fri/Sat nights (Fri in Spanish, Sat in English). Cost for the movies is $5. Play performances are under $20 per ticket, and worth every penny.
