Ayla was AMAZING! She knew what she was doing and she made everything super easy and fun. She took her time and was very helpful. She made everyone feel like artist! We will definitely do this again!

Went here for a kids birthday party. Staff were friendly and worked at a pace that was good for the age group. Art chosen (birthday llama) was easy enough for the kids to get done in the time alotted. They painted for about half the party time and then had pizza/cake on the opposite side of the room part of the time.
Overall, the kids had fun and ended up with a nice souvenir from the birthday party: their llama painting! I would recommend, although the prices are not cheap.

I went with my pre teen daughter to a weekday night class. I was a little skeptical about her being there since it was at night and I knew it would be mainly older people (and the bar would be open). However, there were a few teen girls there so that made my daughter feel less out of place. For the most part, it was fine for my daughter although I was a little uncomfortable about some of the conversations. I realize the concept is to drink and paint so I'm not complaining (I knew this ahead of time) but I do think if it's offered for 13 and up, they should try to "tame" the conversations some. The instruction was very good and I was pleased with my painting. It does move quickly so keep that in mind. I also wish they offered more variety of drinks for those that don't drink alcohol. But all in all, a fun, different night and I'd do it again!

Our social group of ladies had a "girls night out" here the other night. We were told that the painting lesson was from 7-9pm, but to arrive 15-20 minutes early since classes started on time. Water, coffee, tea, wine & beer were included in our session in addition to all painting supplies. The cost of a 2 hour class is $40 per person.
When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by an employee who asked me IF I had ever been there before. When I said no, she gave me a punch card & punched one spot for my first session. After 10 punches, you get a free one. You can also get an extra punch on your card if you "check-in with facebook". She then showed us where the aprons were. Another employee pointed us in the direction of the refreshments, bar area & restrooms. In the back, they had a Twisted Tiki bar where we could get wine or beer (at no additional charge). They had a few selections of each available.
Shortly after arriving, our instructor for the evening told us that class would be starting in 5 minutes. He suggested grabbing a drink and a seat. Five minutes later, he was showing us the painting that we were going to be doing, titled Bubblegum Beach. He told us to just have fun and not stress about the painting. He said that even though we were ALL doing the same painting, that each one would end up different in the end. Throughout the next 2 to 2.5 hours he walked us through the steps of this painting starting with the sky, then water, island and palm trees. He moved fairly quickly, so you really had to try to keep up. He was always one step ahead of me! They did take one break in the middle of painting to blow dry our painting with hair dryers and give us a short recess. He even got out a painting with a cut out in it that made him look like the happy painter, Bob Ross. It was a great laugh! Then we were back to painting.
In the end, I was pretty proud of my painting. I was surprised that it had turned out that good. It wasn't perfect, but I definitely consider it good enough to display in my own home. I had a good time. The time just flew by. I could have easily spent another half hour there finishing up. They did say that they have an SOS night, which I believe was a Saturday night, where you could come back and put the finishing touches on your painting IF you didn't get to finish OR if it needed work. Looking around at our groups' paintings, each one WAS different! It was amazing to see how we each had done the same painting, but they were each unique!
Overall, it was a great experience. The painting was fun and the time moved SO fast. They provided everything you needed from aprons to canvas, paints, brushes and refreshments. You can bring your own snacks. The instructor was funny and kept the mood light hearted. No one critical of your work. They had a small stage for the instructor at one end. There was a TV on the side of the room for those seated in the back half of the room so they could watch the instructor on the screen IF they couldn't see the stage from their seat. So that was helpful. They had blow dryers to dry your painting before you left. My only complaints are that the seating area is tight IF you have a large group (or large persons in your group) and the speed of the class is FAST so you have to try to keep up. I wish there was a little more room between seats & that the class was maybe spread over 3 hours instead of 2 to allow you to work a little slower. I also wish they offered sodas/juices instead of just coffee/water/tea for those who don't drink alcohol or caffeine (breastfeeding moms, pregnant women, kids, etc.).
Bottom Line: Fun and relaxing. I would recommend and would love to do it again. I would like to find a coupon to save on the cost though! Would definitely recommend for a girls night out OR even a birthday party.
