Just went out with Captain Ingram with my wife and four daughters, and all had a GREAT time. Many people judge a captain based on how well he or she can put you on the fish, and that's no problem with Captain Ingram. But what makes the trip special is his ability to make the trip more meaningful and fun based on the make-up of your group. My daughters, ages 7, 10, 14 and 15 were making their first trip, and even the teenagers had a great time without cell phones! My 7 year-old who caught a great cobia and a nice red snapper is already asking when she can go again. I had been on a number of charter trips in the past and was hoping my kids would love it too. Captain Ingram made that happen. Whether it's a first-time experience for you or your group, or you've been out many times before, a trip with Captain Ingram will NOT disappoint. Thanks, Captain!

Had a great trip with Captain Leighton. We met at the dock in front of the Pink Elephant Restaurant promptly at 8AM. Captain Leighton is a professional guide in manner, knowledge and experience. My boys (18 and 14) and I were novice fisherman and the Captain brought us up-to-speed quickly about what we needed to do and how to do it. He is high energy and good with teenagers (no nonsense). Though I am a novice at this, I would recommend this charter. Oh, he got us on fish right away and we all caught fish. I did not give an excellent, because I really do not have anything to compare it to.

Captain Leighton turned what could have been a complete washout of a day into a great experience for my family. We got chased inshore by some storms, but regrouped and ended up fishing the pass with good success. In addition to his skills as a guide Leighton had a lot of great local knowledge of the area and kept both the kids and adults entertained. We will be booking with Krewe Chief Charters the next time we come down to Boca Grande.

Highly recommend Krewe Chief charters to anyone wanting to catch fish! Captain Leighton is very knowledgeable and very helpful and put me on fish immediately. I caught fish from my very first cast to my very last cast and laughed and smiled the whole time, it was an experience of a lifetime and I'm going back as soon as I get a chance. I really liked how much room he has on his boat to fish and to sit down for the boat ride so it wasn't cramped. I caught everything from a lemon shark to a loggerhead turtle to a cobia. If you want to catch fish and have a great fishing experience, call Captain Leighton, you will not regret it.

Had an awesome experience with Capt. Leighton! Very easy to get along with and encouraging man. Capt. Leighton will do all the work so you can enjoy your fishing experience. We will definitely be returning to fish with him again!

Couldn't believe the time my cousin and I had! Captain Laighton was very patient and really helpful. He took us out early to really understand how experienced we were. After an hour into the trip we had it down and had already hooked our first tarpon. Captain Laighton is great at what he does and I am excited for he next trip.

Dylan and Ian I had so much fun tarpon fishing with you . I love your guys excitement and watching you both get the fly fishing fever is more rewarding for me than the tarpon and snook you guys were messing with. It's refreshing to see young enthusiasm for fly fishing . Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Hoping for a Tarpon trip, but wind and seas not cooperative. However, Capt Ingram put us on some great bottom fishing in the pass. Plenty of action - grouper, snapper, lady fish. Coolered many snapper and looking forward to eating tonite! Also included a nice trip to Cabbage Key for lunch. Capt Ingram was great with both the kids and adults, very flexible with our schedule and mother nature, and we would highly recommend.

Mr Brinson had a great time catching snappers with you and your family. Sorry about the weather I wish we could have gone tarpon fishing as planned. The trip to cabbage key was great as well I got some nice pictures of wild orchids while there. Have a great summer look forward to fishing with you all next year.

Highly recommend Krewe Chief charters to anyone looking to have a great time fishing! Captain Leighton is very knowledgeable and professional so much so that he does a training class for all anglers prior to allowing you to fish! The training was awesome and very helpful, especially as this was our first time Tarpon fishing.
His by the numbers training allowed both my son and myself to catch a 200lb Tarpon our first day out!

Fished a afternoon Tarpon trip in Boca Grande Pass with Captain Leighton Ingram. A all around great experience. Capt Ingram is very knowledgeable and a fun person to be in the boat with. Caught a number of gag groupers and topped off with a jumbo tarpon over 100# Would highly recommend

We enjoyed a week in beautiful Boca Grande, FL in February 2016. Leaving the snow we were thrilled to get some of that southern sunshine. And we had plenty of sun even though there was a cold front and high winds. Captain Leighton was very up front when we wanted to get out on the water (high winds and red tide not best for fishing) and suggested that we take a back water excursion. We were not disappointed. We had 6 children, four adults on the boat and we all had plenty of seating room. Capt. Leighton had nets for the kiddos and didn't wince once as the kids dipped in the water and dragged the nets from bow to stern. We saw many dolphins, netted a billion jellyfish, enjoyed many birds including the white pelican and even and mallards. Captain Leighton knew ever nook and cranny of the surrounding islands and shared with us the history of the land as well as how he grew up here and we found him to be a wealth of information on how to spend the rest of our stay. Lastly, each of our children drove the boat and came home happy and beautifully curious and inspired to explore more of what this area has to offer. Thank you and see you next time!
