My wife and I spend the afternoon fishing with Mike in the Matlacha area. We caught a lot of fish including Red fish, snook, snapper, trout, lady fish and Jack. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and taught us some new fishing techniques. I would highly recommend fishing with Mike!!

I highly recommend Captain Mike. My wife and I have fished several times over the past few years with Mike. Every time has been a pleasure. I fly fish and my wife uses conventional gear. Mike knows where the fish are and how to get them. We have targeted reds, snook, and tarpon. It's been a blast. Thank you Captain Mike!

This was my boyfriends and I’s first fishing trip! We had no idea what to expect. Captain Mike treated us like royalty and put the bait on and taught us how to cast our lines. We caught so many fish. He made our trip a once and a life time experience. Personalized to what we wanted to do. Captain Mike was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and reliable. So happy we decided to go. Definitely will be booking again! Highly recommend, do not even think twice!

My husband chartered Captain Mike for a full day and he came home with the biggest smile on his face. Captain Mike was the consummate guide and angler. He knew exactly where to find the fish and my husband was catching slot-sized snooks and reds throughout the day and came home with mangrove snappers for dinner! Even though my husband is an experienced saltwater angler, Captain Mike shared tips and tricks that would improve his experience on the water. He was very professional, friendly and quick with a smile. My husband said that Captain Mike was a true "officer and a gentleman." Without question, we would recommend Inshore Excursions and when we return to Cape Coral, my husband will charter Captain Mike again. Thank you, Captain Mike, for giving my husband the best fishing day ever!

Thanks to the previous reviews on Tripadvisor about Inshore Excursions, we selected Captain Mike for our first guided 1/2 day trip back in November. We had such a great time, we returned for another mini vacation and a couple of more 1/2 day fishing trips with him. We stayed at a nice Airbnb (Catfish Cottage) in Matlacha and Captain Mike picked us up at our private dock which was very convenient. He knows the area, he is experienced, patient and will have you catching fish in no time. My husband was fly fishing and I was using Mike's new Okuma spin casting setup. We had a blast and caught a lot of fish! If you are looking for a fun captain who knows how to catch fish, Mike's your guy.
Oh, did I mention I caught a tarpon on my first cast? Mike put us in a location he had seen tarpon in the past. They were back this year and I was able to catch a tarpon with Mike's coaching. I am sharing a picture of my husband with the tarpon I caught. It was a lot of fun!

My wife and I fished a half day with Capt. Mike. What a pleasure! It was like fishing with a good friend. He coached me to catch my first fish (snook) on the fly. We ended the day with over 30 caught fish and a great memory. I am definitely hooked and will be back for more.

My husband and son went out with Captain Mike and both had a great day with over 70 plus fish caught. My husband is an experienced bass fisherman and says Captain Mike knows his fish. They both had an excellent time.

We are from the Midwest and my husband and I do a great amount fishing. Lake, river, and ocean. Reel fishing and fly fishing. In all the year, we have traveled to Florida and used a guide, Capt. Mike is by far the best salt water fishing guide we have had a fishing experience with. He knows his area, water and fish. You definitely get your money's worth in just four hours with Capt. Mike! We highly recommend him and will refer our friends back home to him.Thanks for an awesome time Capt. Mike!

Everything about inshore excursions is top notch. Captain Mike is extra knowledgeable, knows where to catch the winners and has a great personality. We started out the day catching snook and sea trout. Of course there's always the infamous ones that away! He did a great job keeping us moving when things slowed down and we can't wait to fish with him again. Thank you Captain Mike for an amazing day!
