EARS, Endangered, Animal, Rescue Sanctuary is a beautifully locally owned nonprofit rescue. The tour guide Sue has a beautiful soul and is very knowledgeable about the animals. I definitely will be back. Just a word of caution, It is not suitable for younger children because it is a walking tour that takes about an hour and a half to two hours. The children I saw (five years old, and about two years old) on the tour I got very bored and cranky. They do their tours the first Saturday of every month. The gates opened at 9:30am and the tour started at 10am. Sue did mention you can call and book private tours, if you have a group of 10 or more. No photography is allowed but the staff will take a picture for you. If you must have one. My favorite cat was Mia. She’s just gorgeous. I’m so grateful for what this organization does to help these animals. You can tell the animals are happy and definitely love the staff that works there.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave plenty of time for us to admire each animal before moving along with the tour. This is definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend.

Was very impressed with the number of tigers and different types. They have a liger, lion, leopards, bears, monkeys and much more. All of the animals are well taken care of. The areas are large and clean with shelter and outside runs. They are all healthy, well fed and loved. The tour was very informative and interesting, so worth the donation of only $20. Can’t wait to go again and show to company when they visit. Open on Saturday at 1:30, tour 1:45-3:15. No photos or videos allowed.

Went to visit this sanctuary with animal loving friends. It was a wonderful experience. The people who work and volunteer there love their animals and are willing to explain the problems with endangered animals. They are particularly fond of and care for some wonderful tigers.

This visit was generally a positive experience to see these big cats and bears although you have to wonder as fat as many of them looked, whether keeping them alive in pens is in their best interest especially as they don't seem to get enough exercise. They take in large groups @ $20/person at specific start times. One young volunteer went out of her way to make sure individuals stayed at least 4' away from the cages. We attended an afternoon session and the majority of them were either laying down or sleeping. The guide said the cats are most active at feeding time in the mornings. We never even got to hear a roar so that was disappointing.

We had such an amazing time at EARS. We loved the tour and never imagined we would be so close to such magnificent creatures. The sanctuary does great work and we are so wowed by their rescue efforts. Everyone on the property was very kind and knowledgeable. It was worth every penny ($20) especially when you know it’s going to a good cause. Thank you EARS! - Wendy and Danny

We loved seeing all the beautiful animals and beautiful educational experience! They house exotic animals that came from horrible situations and give them a lifetime home !

The sanctuary focus is to provide the best care for the rescued animals. The tour was well done. It was interesting,well presented , and informative. I would recommend it to any animal lover who wishes to see lions,tigers,ligers,m0nkeys, panthers and bears up close.

What a very special place for rescued and abandoned wild animals to live out their lives. They are well fed and cared for by volunteers and thru donations.
My granddaughter who's 4 enjoyed it a lot.
A $20 donation gets you an hour tour of this great site.

Is this the rescue center that just had 3 baby tigers born where 1 didn't make it and when the babies are 6 weeks old will be transferred to the Cincinnati zoo?
