This charter was everything and well worth it. From the time of booking up until the day of, John was so informative and answered all of my questions . We headed out early Sunday morning, it was a beautiful day. John made sure we enjoyed our time on the charter and showed us several different fishing techniques. I believe the icing on the cake was John bringing his son Fin along for the charter. When John called the night before the charter to confirm we were all good with the weather, I told him Fin would be our good luck charm. Which deemed true, because we ended up catching some beautiful fish! African Pompano, Mutton Snapper, Kingfish, and Amberjack. But the African Pompano was definitely the center of attention when we made it back to the dock. We even got a chance to see some sharks and a few dolphins while we were out on the boat. This experience definitely made me want to bring my son along for the next charter. Fin was also very knowledgeable of the fish we caught and that was impressive!
This is something i have been wanting to do for a long time, and i’m glad that i was able to check that off the list. I highly recommend that you book with Fin and Fly, you won’t be disappointed. All in all a great time was had and I will definitely be back soon!

Me and my three girlfriends decided we wanted to go fishing, so I asked at Cape Marina gift shop ,
who they would suggest that would be a good charter to take. They highly recommended Fin & Fly..! Setting the trip up, went very smoothly with Jamie the owner, and when we arrived at the boat, everything was ready to go.
The weather was beautiful. The fish were biting, even though we didn’t get one big enough that we could take home to eat, but we all caught something and had a good time.
Captain Bud was awesome and was so helpful to each one of us during our for our trip.
I highly recommend them, and I know we will be booking another trip in the near future..!

Captain John was very knowledgeable about fishing and did his job very well for us to catch fish but the weather did not cooperate. It was very windy and wavy, which nobody has any control over!! We did catch some grunts and sea bass. Will be back for another attempt when we go back to Florida!!!!!

Great day of fishing with Bud! What an awesome guide! We finished our day with a shark catch . Great memory of our time in Florida! Thank you, Bud, and Fin and Fly Fishing Charters!

Fished half day, nearshore in Port Canaveral. Capt. Bud immediately had us on the fish. Landed some very nice snook that put up a fight!

Such an amazing and memorable day! With teens and littles in our family it is not easy to find something everyone can do! Both of our kids ended up having a bit of heat exhaustion and a little sea sickness and captain John was so attentive and caring. They both snapped out of it with some extra hydration and had a great day! You can tell captain John thoroughly loves kids! Highly recommend——the world needs more kids holding fish and enjoying the amazing outdoors! Thank you Captain John! Your joy was contagious and our kids were grateful for the opportunity!

My son had an amazing time and so did I. Our guide put us on fish. It was non-stop bites. If we didn't get a bite for about 5 minutes he would have us real up and move and definitely knew the spots to put us on. Would recommend this to anybody

Great fun trip for the whole family. hooked up on plenty of fish, even though we couldn’t make it out to deep water.

Captain John took great care of us. Took us right to the fish and the kiddo's caught fish in minutes! Had an absolute blast!!!!!!

Our guide was very sociable. He knew where the fish were and how to catch them! We didn’t catch many but it was not his fault! They just wouldn’t take the bait. Would highly recommend them again.

How far in advance should I book the deep sea fishing for Dec. 1st. 2019. I would have three going. What would be biting then? What is the cost and how much deposit?

Our bigger boats are only aloud to take up to 6 people max, thats the coast guard requirement! When we have larger parties we do 2-3 boats and fish next to each other.

Do you combine people on the same boat? Like if my husband and his buddy go can they get one a charter with another group or couple going on the deep sea tour. They do not need a boat to themselves and would have more fun fishing with others.

What different species of fish can be caught between an inshore trip vs a near shore trip?

Inshore is redfish, seatrout, black drum, snook, and tarpon! Nearshore could be any type of fish that swims in the ocean.
What is the difference between a near shore trip & an offshore/deep sea trip?

Our nearshore trip is in our 24ft boat, we fish anywhere from 0-20 miles out on that boat in the ocean...our deep sea boat is a 32ft that has a bathroom on board and will travel up to 40 miles offshore depending on what trip you book!
