Captain Mike was an amazing nighttime tour guide for our large group bioluminscent tour of 12 including a two year old, four year old; and a my special needs son. I highly recommend Captain Mike for your kayaking tour! He was educational, patient and FUN! So glad we went with Mike as we even got to see a rocket launch!

Our guide, Sterling, was so sweet and knowledgeable. This was my husband and I’s first time kayaking but she made sure we knew the basics and helped us along the way. It ended up being just her and us, which made the experience even better, in my opinion. The mangroves were really neat to explore (more so than I expected!). Sterling even caught a jellyfish that I was able to hold. We saw a really young dolphin (she’s estimated it 1-2 weeks old) with an adult, which was absolutely the highlight for me! There were tons of different birds, fish and even a mangrove baby snake. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend. We will definitely go again if we are back in this area with our kids!

Ended up with private bioluminescence tour with Garrett. Had an amazing time. Not only did the water light up so did the sky with distant lightening. Really loved we could set the pace and take our time.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our night time tour with Garrett. It was so quiet and peaceful and the perfect temperature for kayaking. The bioluminescent algae was magical and Garrett was knowledgeable and friendly. We were also lucky enough to be out on the water when the Space X rocket launched. What a perfect place to watch from. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Sterling was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable about the animals and eco system. We saw a dolphin and her calf and an up close encounter with a baby manatee! It came right to our boats. Thanks for a wonderful experience Cocoa Beach Kayaking!

We loved our trip with Sterling as our guide. She is knowledgeable and so passionate about the area, wildlife. Spending time on the water in a smaller group was awesome and we learned a ton about the area. I would definitely recommend Cocoa Beach Kayaking.

My husband and i, and friends who were visiting from Minnesota, had a fun & relaxing afternoon kayaking the 1000 islands tour on the Indian River.
Our guide, Sterling, was very accommodating & knowledgeable about the river, the islands and all the wildlife - flying and swimming! An extra bonus was seeing the Atlas V rocket launch while leisurely floating, in the lagoon, towards our final landing spot. It was a great afternoon and we WILL do it again 😎

Sterling was great. Hubby and I have never been kayaking. We had a wonderful time. She was very patient and knowledgeable. We saw a Manatee and several large Blue Herons. I would again.

Hi there! When we went, there is a grassy area with some picnic tables. That is where you meet the guide to go over basic rules and get a life jacket. They could sit there in the shade or walk around the site as well. Keep an eye out for red ants - our guide was great about marking the red ant hill with flags so that you avoid them! There was only one area with them, and it was quite small.
