We arrived by 8:00 am, not 1 bird to be seen on the boardwalk. Birding is not a science, so hopefully there are birds that do come here. There is parking for about 30 cars, and bus and rv parking. The board walk is covered by the canopy growth and surrounded by city. . . . My report is NO birds. There are raccoons.

Multiple wet and dry environments that change with the seasons. Great for Birders and photographers or just taking a quiet relaxing walk on a new boardwalk. You forget you are in the middle of the Coral Springs suburbs and traffic. I go often just to unwind.

Very nice nature park. Well maintained and easy walk from nearby hotel and restaurants. Easy walk and w/c accessible.

This place is a green, shady oasis in the middle of a bustling area. Although we could still hear the sounds of the city, we felt like we were in a secluded forest. Interesting variety of plants (and creatures, although we didn't see many), with good signage. We read that students lobbied to save the place from development. Good job, students!

Undisturbed cypress swamp, its small area lots of Fauna, quiet, I saw a few butterflies. They have an elevated walkway.

Quiet and serene amidst the traffic scurrying by. Could use some refreshing since many of the QR scanners were too faded to work. Despite this fact we had a lovely stroll observing flower and fauna that took us about an hour. We we privileged to see two raccoons near the water searching for food which was a real treat. Go there for a relaxing walk amidst the tall cypress trees. There is no charge for parking and there is even a bathroom.

Nice nature preserve. The weather is just starting to get nicer and I would recommend a November December January stop at this place. During the summer you have to fight lots of mosquitoes but they’re not as bad in the winter months beautiful sunsets

Hi Diane, no unfortunately not. No dogs are permitted. But there is a beautiful dog beach at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton with nice birding and nature walks!
