i traveled hear and hiking through the woods was like stepping back through time when there were the existence of wagons and sugar cane mills. you can really lose your self in the beauty and peace in these woods. this is nothing like Pinellas parks to noisy to many houses encroaching on the few wilderness parks they have left there. trashy tourist destroying the natural places Pinellas has there . look at clearwater beach it is awful development there has ruined the whole beach experience there. Hernando county is the better place to be

Plenty of parking and there are bathrooms.
Get there early for a picnic table with shade over it. Great for small children.

We visited this area twice. Once at sunset which was very pleasant and the other during the afternoon.
We were able to enjoy the dock, the boardwalk area between the dock and the beach, and the beach itself. It’s just a short little walk for a beach with soft sand. Lots of families enjoying themselves. This is not a place to be seen or socialize. This is a place for families to enjoy themselves safely at the beach. There is an area in the water that would help to prevent sharks from coming to close to the land.

This is a pretty area. We walked the boardwalk through big trees and found a pure white sand beach. Many birds were there dancing in the tide waters. Since we enjoy birding we found the area particularly appealing. And, a bonus for us, it was close to sunset so it was definitely worth the stop.

clean public launch, just not an area you want to go in a kayak, there is not much to explore. This launch is more for actual boats and those who want to fish.

Basically an over crowded mud hole. PersonallyI would never venture into the brackish water. Not what visitors expect when visiting Florida. Limited parking and run down dirty facilities. Don’t waste your time!

Great place on the water for a family picnic. Fish form the pier, launch you boat, short hike on the boardwalk next to the river.

The little park offers clean facilities, a small walk-around fishing and crabbing pier and AMAZING views. WOW was the feeling. We fished, and others were crabbing. The boat ramp is right next to the park and it was fun watching the different water craft come and go. We saw two manatees which was very exciting. Right next to the pier. There is a nice covered area with picnic tables. We drove over to Crystal River for the day and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the park.

Lovely country park but the 'beach' is little more than a few feet with very lime ted swimming. Staff at entrance to three sisters were not at all helpful. We were surprised to find that you could not park at these springs but had to park in town although they did offer a free bus service from town car park to the spring. Cost of entry to spring is $7.50 each which we thought was quite steep. No manatees at this spring either. We did not arrive until lunchtime and through that we would be able to book a boat trip. Sadly the last booking is 1pm and I is essential to book in advance. Travelled 3 hours to get there. Spent 1.5 hours wandering around then drove back. Not the best day in America

Love this great Gulf beach, that is easy to reach from the Crystal River area. Quiet, clean and don't miss the pier.

Hmmm..don't have a dog, but I think so. There's a beach and then there are walking paths..there are some fiddler crabs in the rocky jetties..they are pretty small and they seem to just want to hide in holes in the ground so I don't think they would try to pinch a dog.
