Street parking made access simple to the beach and shops / restaurants whether for a quick trip or all day excursion. Plenty of space in February and the water was crystal clear and 75*.

They have lifeguards and some shower heads to rinse off. Over all it's a good beach. There's no boardwalk and there's not too much to do but the beach itself is great. If you have time it's worth stopping by but be mindful that there are better beaches in the area.

Loved how easy it was to set up on the beach - chairs and umbrellas are waiting for you at a very reasonable price. No more lugging towels, chairs and tons of stuff to the beach. Just what you want when staying at a resort.

Linda playa, amplia, grande, con lava pies y estacionamiento. La única pena es que había mucho sargazo... y no se pudo disfrutar como se debería.

The municipal beach, which can get very crowded on weekends, is well-maintained and well-supervised. It's wide and kept clean. Chairs and umbrellas available for rent. One of the nicest things about Delray is you can walk on the beach quite far both north and south. Watch out for jellyfish!

Beautiful & clean ! Really crowded mid-day at high season, but the sunrise is the best! Mid-day is crowded and sunset is nice.

The Delray Municipal Beach has public parking along the beach. You can park and then carry your items on the sand for a day at the beach.

You can ewalk to the beach from the Opal Grand, or if you are visiting by car you can park on the street for free, and walk to the beach access paths (there are plenty). Once on the beautiful beach you can't see cars, the road, or any high rises. Very peaceful and beautiful, and Atlantic Ave and its restaurants are a walk away.

Went to Delray municipal Beach today. Disappointed. There was a lot of seaweed and lots of trash. Water bottles and caps, coffee cups. The water was very warm and some what enjoyable because I'm from Boston.

Just love Delray Beach. Clean and outdoor showers to wash off available. If you need a chair - lounge or umbrella - you can rent.

There is no charge at Delray’s municipal beach, unless you want to rent chairs and umbrellas. The hotels might offer their own setup, so I would suggest contacting them directly. The seaweed varies, but was not bad at all recently compared to last year.

Parking is free after 8pm each night. Parking on the east side of A1A is abundant between Atlantic & Linton.

So are dogs allowed on the beach or not? All the answers I have found in reviews are contradicting each other.

Dogs are not allowed on Delray Beach. If you want your dog to enjoy the beach it is best to go to inlet beach in Boynton Beach just up A1A about 3 miles or so. Walk to the north side of the inlet and use that beach which was dog friendly the last time I was there.

Hola, buen día. Por favor: la consulta es porque pienso ir con mi familia en verano. Y me llama la atención lo que decís (que es ridículamente caro alquilar equipo de playa.......sombrilla + reposeras). Entonces: ¿decís que conviene más comprarlo en un super mercado?.........¡uau!........me llama la atención porque en Argentina resultaría muy costoso comprar dos silletas + sombrilla para usarla unos pocos días y luego dejarlas. Bueno.........quedo atento. Muchas gracias y buen año 2017.

Hola, créeme que es mucho más conveniente el supermercado. Las playas más turísticas que tienen estos servicios son los más costosos (Fort Lauderdale, South beach, Miami beach). Donde te estés quedando busca el Wallmart más cercano y en realidad son productos no tan buenos pero baratos para que no te duela dejarlos. Aunque las sillas venden unas pequeñas que te las puedes traer y también hay en Bed Bath adn Beyond (tienda de lo que imagines para el hogar), son de mejor calidad las cosas más costosas, pero valdría la pena pagar para traer devuelta estas sillas (incluso ha unas tipo mochila plegables).
